Comments about Real Techniques Dual-Ended Expert Sponge:

I was really excited when I purchased this sponge because I love my orange real techniques one. And I thought the idea for this sponge was great...having one side for creams and liquids and the other for powders. But this sponge is HARD!!! Even after soaking it in water. It doesn't feel good on your skin and since it's so tough it doesn't apply product evenly. Will be sticking to my original real techniques sponge from now on. Don't understand why they made the first one so soft and this one so hard!

I really like it I wish I could give it a 4.5. The only con is that it smells like rubber and it leaves the smell on your face otherwise it works well.

I bought this because the concept sounded good and I love most real techniques products. This sponge didn't expand like the original does when you add water to it. It was difficult to apply concealer and foundation with it. I would just stick with the original.

I'm a huge real tech fan and i jumped at this when it launched, i used it today first time and this sponge is a joke!!! it's worse than those chinese rubber sponges that dont absorb water or makeup and so hard , i don't even know how to describe it , it is so bad, i regret throwing out my original miracle sponge because i just wasted money on this , i want to believe i received a bad batch because this is terrible! the worst thing ever lol,

                                    Hi Noorelhileh,

That's a great question - this sponge is a different type of material from our regular Miracle Complexion Sponge. This is meant to be used dry only. We will be posting a tutorial video on Ulta's product page within the next week that really shows how to use the sponge.

Because you're using it dry, you will get fuller coverage than using it wet,

                                    Hope that helps!

                                    Hi Cristina,

Thanks for your question on this brand new sponge!! The wonderful thing about our brushes and sponges is that, for the most part, there aren't any hard & fast "rules" about how to use them - it's all about however they work for you to get the look that you want. :)

So, if you like how the pink side works for applying foundation, absolutely go for it!

                                    Thanks!
