It dries out zits immediately and doesn't harm your skin. I've tried everything and this is by far the best. It is super stinky though.

Comments about Mario Badescu Drying Mask:

I heard of this product and just had to try it cause I read that you could put this on backs and chest. My back is very problematic when I get stressed and or hormonal, and i usually use Nip Fab pads on my back but they are too drying I've seen and it was only making it worse. So I stopped using them and started this almost a week ago and I have seen a great improvement in my back and my imperfections. Use it as directed and you will definitely be happy with it. And i love that it was effective and very inexpensive.

Although, it did even out the skin, and left the skin feeling clean. I wasn't able to get over the strong, unpleasant scent that lingered. They have other great products in their line but this product was definitely a miss.

    Amazing

    By Jessica

    from California

Comments about Mario Badescu Drying Mask:

This product is great. Yes it does smell very strong like sulfur but it doesn't bother me much especially since it works. It targets acne prone areas and doesn't dry out the rest of your skin. I have naturally very dry skin No matter what I use or how much water I drink so after using it I use the khiels overnight hydrating mask just so I don't loose any moisture. I love this stuff.

Comments about Mario Badescu Drying Mask:

At first the smell was extremely off-putting. I got over it and now I find the smell soothing. I use this mask about 5 times a week. I have oily, acne prone skin with some dry spots. I avoid putting it on my dry areas. I decided to try this mask because I was tired of spending almost $40 on the Murad acne mask. This is half the price and just as effective! Wonderful mask

I have struggled with cystic acne on and off throughout my high school and college years. I began flaring up recently and started using this product 1-2 times daily. My skin has improved so much!! Acne has almost completely cleared writhin a week of use. I have also been pairing it with the brightening mask to help with dark marks and scarring. This brand is a little pricey but definitely worth the investment!

Comments about Mario Badescu Drying Mask:

I absolutely love this mask! I've oily skin and it helps me to be less oily. It's really good for drying out your break outs! I'm almost out of it so I definitely will be repurchasing very soon. People say it smells horrible, but it really doesn't smell that bad. Nothing overpowering.

      Wish I could try this!

      By Nika

      from N/A

Comments about Mario Badescu Drying Mask:

I've heard sooooo many great reviews on this mask. From reading reviews to youtubers. HOWEVER, the smell of this product is BEYOND FOUL!!!! I tried to put it on the back of my hand to see how my skin would react to it before I put it on my face and due to how bad the smell was coming from the tiny amount I put on my hand I instantly had to scrub my hand clean. After scrubbing for all of 5 - 7 minutes the smell still did not go away. Unfortunately I have to return it. Does the rest of their line smell this foul? I really would like to try their products.

          A:

Our Drying Mask is best applied at night. Apply a thin layer of mask on clean skin, avoiding eye area. Wait 15-20 minutes and rinse thoroughly with warm water. After removing the mask, you can follow with your usual toner and moisturizer.

Will this mask help with milia on my forehead?

        • Brand Expert

          A:

The Drying Mask should be used 2-3 times a week to help clear problematic skin. Should you only be experiencing skin issues on your forehead, you can apply the mask only to that area.

      • Q:

Hi, is this product more effective than the drying cream? Which one works faster and better?
Asked on 5/29/2016 by Dalia from New Haven, CT

        1 answer

        • Brand Expert

          A:

It depends on the type and severity of your breakouts. The Drying Mask is extremely effective as an all over treatment to help shrink and dry out blemishes - and is great for wide-spread problems. Drying Cream is a spot treatment that is not rinsed off. We recommend that Drying Cream be applied sparingly to small patches of under-the-surface bumps.

The instructions say it is best when used as a companion product to Mario Badescu's Healing & Soothing Mask. Do you recommend using the Healing & Soothing mask immediately after/the same day as the Drying Mask (to moisturize after 'drying')? Or would you recommend doing these masks on different days?

For best results, we recommend using the Drying Mask one day and using the Healing & Soothing Mask the following the day. You can repeat this pattern as necessary.
