This is my first dry brush and I love it. It's not rough and big enough to brush large areas. I love dry brushing its healthy for your skin and lymphatic system. Quick Tip, if you drink warm water with lemon, it will help boost your metabolism. My skin feels smoother and it's getting rid of my cellulite.

I use this daily before I go to bed. Super intense exfoliation but SO worth it! Instantly increases blood flow to my arms and legs. The bad part is that you can see the dead skins literally falling off. Suggestion: put a towel under you while using this brush.

Comments about EcoTools Dry Body Brush:

I have been wanting to get into the habit of dry brushing my skin for a long time. This is a process that you do on dry skin before showering, brushing your whole body in a circular motion toward the heart. It exfoliates and improves circulation. The brushes I have bought in the past have been very uncomfortable to handle and the bristles are a little too stiff. This one is perfect, not too soft or too hard, and the size is very easy to handle with my small hands. It has a strap that you can use but it's so comfortable I don't really need it. I'm not sure if they have one with a long handle where you can detach the brush. That would be helpful in reaching your back, but I also don't trust those to stay together for very long. Now that I've found a great brush, all I need to do is get into the habit of doing it daily!

Comments about EcoTools Dry Body Brush:

This brush is perfect for dry brushing the body (do not use on face) for removal of dead skin and increasing circulation. The bristles are stiff enough to slough skin yet soft enough that you don't feel as if your raking your skin off. It fits perfectly in the palm and has a strap across the back of it to hold the brush onto your hand.

Perfect for dry brushing, not too rough, not too soft. Could not believe how well it exfoliated. Gave one to my mom. She loves it as well. I'm older, in my 50's, so I spend a lot of time trying to keep my skin healthy. So far this is the best.

                              Hi Megan,

Great question - on average, we would recommend replacing the brush every 3-6 months, depending on the level of usage.

I would recommend cleaning the bristles with our EcoTools makeup brush shampoo (it's for makeup brushes, but would also work with this bath brush). You can find that here:

                              Hi Wendy,

Thanks for your question! This is such a great brush overall, but it's definitely meant for the skin on your body. The skin on your face is much more fragile, so you will want to look for products specifically made for the face.

As far as product go, have you tried facial scrubs? They are wonderful for helping to rejuvenate your skin through exfoliation. There are also several facial cleansing options (including brushes) if you do a search for them on Ulta.com.

I did a general search and these are the results it generated (http://www.ulta.com/ulta/a/_/Ntt-facial%20cleansing/Nty-1?Dy=1&ciSelector=searchResults).

                              Hope that helps!

                              Hi Allie,

Really good question! While you *can* use this brush in the shower, it's best used out of the shower (either before you take one, or any time).

The way I like to use it is about 1/2 hr before bed, I use the brush on my legs, arms, mid-section, then really focus on the areas that need a bit more care & exfoliation (knees, feet & ankles). Then I apply lotion to my arms, legs, feet & hands.

I've found that the lotion soaks in much better and I am having far less issues with dry skin since I started that regimen. I kind of feel like I can't live without this product!!

                              :)

                              Thanks!
