Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

I was so excited to buy this product. I have dark brown hair and although I love dry shampoo, I'm often left with white residue. I thought this was the ultimate solution.

Unfortunately, the brown color got everywhere. And even after I wiped it from my face and hands, it never dried. If I touched my hair during the day, I would get brown all over my hands. Instead of adding volume, this product made my hair so tangled, I could barely comb my hair.

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

The only thing good about this dry shampoo was the scent otherwise it was terrible. It's meant for brunettes so understandably there's the brown tint but this wasn't just tinted. It turned my hands, sink and towel black to the point where I had to bleach my sink and scrub my hands 2-3 times. I'll definitely be returning this.

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

I don't wash my hair every day, so I need a good dry shampoo to absorb my oils. My hair is mildly oily, and this takes care of it perfectly. The scent could be described as a bit cologne-y, but not overwhelming. You smell it at first through the spray, but not all day. Also, when shampooing your hair you will get some brown in your shower, but it doesn't stain at all and washes down easily.

I have the regular detox dry shampoo and while it does come out white it is easily scrubbed into the hair. This brunette color is AWFUL. It gets all over your face and then when you go to scrub it into your hair it stains your fingers brown and everything you touch. Not worth it!!!

Dry shampoo is my go to, but i am a light brunette so the basic dry shampoo turns my hair gray, so I was excited to find the brunette dry shampoo...until I used it and it was DARK.

This leaves the WORST residue that gets every where! I've used other dry shampoos for brunettes before (Batiste has a great dry shampoo for brunettes) but this one is by far the worst. I would definitely recommend buying ANOTHER product.

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

I got this because I love the regular Detox Dry Shampoo- the smell is amazing and it's light. BUT unfortunately they missed the mark on the brunette formula. It made my hair feel soooo gross, and the color kept getting darker and darker as it dried... and I didn't realize it was all over my hands... then all over my face. I looked like a coal miner. Wouldn't buy the brunette formula again, but will definitely go back to the original Detox dry shampoo!

          Awful

          By Mel

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

So disappointed in this product. I purchased in the store and didn't see reviews first. It made my hair very sticky. I also can't run my fingers through my hair without getting brown residue on them. The smell is also a bit strong. I've used other tinted dry shampoos with far better results. Don't be fooled by the Drybar name.

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

This was the first dry shampoo I tried. I have been trying to get a longer break between hair washes and was hopeful a dry shampoo would help. I read the instructions, so I was prepared to avoid getting the spray on my clothes. I was not prepared for the brown stains it would leave on my hands when I touched it hours later. It felt much more like hair spray, leaving a terrible "sticky" reside in my hair. Keep in mind, I don't use hairspray or other styling products. I couldn't wait to wash my hair at the end of the day. I'm definetely reluctant about using dry shampoo again.

If only I could give this zero stars....

Comments about Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo For Brunettes:

Being a redhead, the usual dry shampoos leave a little bit of a white or grey tinge to my color so I thought I would try this out.
This is horrifying. The spray is far too dark and wet and gets EVERYWHERE. It looks like there is dirt on my fingers everytime I touch my hair. The smell is also gross. Save your money.
