Not For Me

Comments about Clarisonic Deep Pore Cleansing Brush Head:

I originally had the sensitive brush head, but decided to switch it out with this one. This brush head is very stiff, and I feel like it doesn't really clean as well as my other one. I haven't seen anything different in my skin since using this different brush head. It's not bad, I just believe their other ones are better.

      • Q:

I understand you're supposed to replace the brush head every 3 months (or 90 days.) Say you only use the brush twice a week; that would only be 24 days of use, not a full 3 months. What exactly does it mean, then, to replace every 3 months? If you use it every day for 3 months? What if you use it once a week?

Hi there, thanks so much for your question. For optimal cleansing we do suggest changing the brush head every 90 days based off of twice daily usage which would be 180 uses .

      • Q:

I have large pores on my face but my face is also very acne prone and incredibly oily in my T-Zone. Could I use two different brushes at once or should I just stick with one brush? Will both brushes (no matter which one I decide to get) clear up my acne and help with oil?
Asked on 5/22/2016 by Tara from TN, US

        1 answer

        • Brand Expert

          A:

Hi Tara, thanks so much for your question. The best suggestion is to choose a brush according to your biggest concern. If that is acne then begin with the Acne Brush Head. Use the Acne Brush head twice a day for 90 days. By end of 90 days it will be time to change your brush head. If large pores and oiliness is still a big concern at that point, give the Deep Pore Brush Head a try for the next 90 days. All Clarisonic Brush Heads offer the same cleansing efficacy and do not harbor or spread bacteria. When you Sonic Cleanse your skin you are cleansing your skin 6x's better than your hands alone, so that is more removal of dirt, oil, makeup, debris, and pollution from your pores which will assist in the clearing of acne.

      • Q:

I'm looking at the Mia 2 and wondering what's the differences between deep cleaning brush head and the acne one? Can I use a cream cleanser with any brush head? How often should I replace my brush and how do I clean it? I'm early 30s slightly uneven near eyes/temples and more oily in summer and dry in winter

Please view this chart to see the differences between the Acne Brush Head and Deep Pore Cleansing Brush Head:
          http://s7d5.scene7.com/is/image/Ulta/BrushHeadComparisonChart?scl=1

For your skin type and condition, we would suggest using the Deep Pore Cleansing Brush Head or the Sensitive Brush Head.

Yes, the Cream Cleanser is compatible with all Clarisonic Brush Heads.

Brush heads need to be replaced every three months because the bristles become fatigued and less effective over time. To dry the brush after use, rub the brush head against a towel for 5-10 seconds while it is powered on, or simply replace the brush head cap and let it air dry between uses. Once a week, remove the brush head from the handle and rinse with warm soapy water to remove any residue.
