Comments about Paul Mitchell Curls Spring Loaded Frizz-Fighting Shampoo:

I have 3a/b curls that are VERY prone to frizz. Dry weather is worse for me than humid weather, and I live in AZ. For my hair to get any definition, it's all about adding moisture, moisture, moisture. If my hair gets too dry, some layers of it don't curl...they just poof out, and look remarkably like an Irish Water Spaniel fur. I am very used to "co-washing", and maybe because of that I didn't find this shampoo to be unusually thick (as commented upon in other reviews). A little goes a long way, and this cleans thoroughly and gently. It adds moisture as well, and doesn't seem to strip my hair. Since I always use a conditioner after shampooing, then styling/anti-frizz products, and curl refresher spray throughout the day, all I want from a shampoo is for it to clean my hair without turning it into a ball of straw. This works really well, and the price is super reasonable for a high quality product. This smells nice, too; not strong or obnoxious.

      • Poor Texture

Comments about Paul Mitchell Curls Spring Loaded Frizz-Fighting Shampoo:

I have naturally curly hair, medium texture, prone to dryness and frizz due to color treatment. This shampoo is a gunky consistency and I do not feel like it cleans my hair effectively, or detangles it at all. My hair actually feels less healthy after using it, and no amount of conditioner can really repair it. I have been using sulfate-free or low sulfate shampoos/cleansers for over a year on my hair, and there are many others (some much cheaper) that work much better than this. Very disappointed.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Curls Spring Loaded Frizz-Fighting Shampoo:

I have really thick, frizzy, wavy/curly, long hair and this shampoo was a waste of money! I was excited to see a shampoo formulated for frizzy wavy/curly hair and bought 2 bottles with Ulta's Buy One Get One 50% OFF sale. Tried it for the first time and it is just terrible! It's super super thick for a shampoo and it leaves my hair feeling stripped and extremely dry. Definitely not worth the money!
