Comments about Living Proof Curl Conditioning Wash:

I alternate between this co wash and Aveda's. This one seems to hold my curl longer and works very well with the Living Proof curl cream. The smell is a little odd (peppery) and the product's a little pricey, but it's worth it. I like it MUCH better than the Deva Curl line, which I have also tried.

Comments about Living Proof Curl Conditioning Wash:

This shampoo is too expensive and not worth the money. When I first started using this product it defined my curls and it smells really good. But after continued use, it dried my hair out so much that even my scalp itched all the time. Not worth the money!! I gave it two stars only because it smells really good.

Comments about Living Proof Curl Conditioning Wash:

I absolutely loved this from the first time I used it! I noticed a difference right away even when my hair was still wet. It felt healthier and had better volume. It keeps the moisture in my hair, which is refreshing. After my hair dried the curl looked better overall as well. I was a little apprehensive about using a two in one product since I'm used to conditioning every time I shower but only shampooing every 3 - 4 days. It doesn't lather - so if you need that lather to really feel like you're getting your hair clean it will be a change. I was skeptical about that too but it really does clean my hair without the lather.

It has volume and looks healthier.

Comments about Living Proof Curl Conditioning Wash:

I love that such a small amount of product can be worked into my hair and then I can comb through it with a wide toothed comb without using conditioner! I also use no "frizz" leave-in conditioner that is AMAZING along with the equally AMAZING "curl" defining styling CREAM. I have naturally curly hair that I have been straightening (Brazilian Blow Out) for years and I am so excited to see my own curls in half the time it took to straighten my hair on a daily basis. I also tried the Deva Curl products but Living Proof has won me over in performance and cost savings as a little product goes a long way!

                      A:

Instead of relying on sulfates to clean the hair, Curl Conditioning Wash uses a combination of two gentle ingredients, Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Amaranth Protein and Decyl Glucoside to remove dirt, oil, and styling residue.

Sodium Cocoyl Hydrolyzed Amaranth Protein is a natural plant sourced cleanser.

Decyl Glucoside is a natural cleanser derived from sugars.

                      A:

Curl Conditioning Wash does contain a very small amount of an organic-based cleansing peptide. It is not at all like traditional proteins which create a heavy feeling on the hairs surface.
We chose this ingredient because of its unique combination of high performance and functionality. Importantly, this ingredient does not act at all like traditional proteins, as it helps clean hair and helps make Curl Conditioning Wash much more light weight vs. other conditioning washes. Further, we believe it is fine for hair characterized with low porosity. As opposed to traditional proteins which are not at all appropriate for 'low porosity.'

All Living Proof products can be mixed and matched to address specific concerns.

To protect hair from damage from heat styling, we suggest Blowout (Item #: 2287210) or Restore Instant Protection (Item #: 2276276), both of which protect hair up to 450 degrees F.

No Frizz Weightless Styling Spray (Item #: 2247773) is also a great option for those with fine, frizz-prone hair, and it can be layered with either heat protectant product. It is formulated with Living Proof's patented Healthy Hair Molecule (OFPMA), which blocks humidity 70% better than silicones and oils.

                      A:

The product does have light cleaning elements to it so it will help deal with oily scalp. It might actually work very well since it's not too stripping and won't promote sebum production. Too much stripping can lead to more sebum production as your scalp tries to rebalance it. You should try it! Curl Detangling Rinse, when used in conjunction, will help with breakage and knots. Use it after the Conditioning Wash. Apply generously to wet hair and run hair under water run activate detangling. Rinse well. We hope this helps!
