Comments about Laura Geller Cover Lock Cream Foundation:

TINY amount of product works best for the flawless natural look. can easily become too heavy with an excited hand like mine! I enjoyed the look it gave me with my NYX make up sponge. lasted all day and did not feel heavy after spraying it with my ultimate fav Hard Candy primer mist. would highly recommended for normal/dry skin girls!

An employee introduced me to this. I have extremely pink/red undertones and I struggle finding the right foundation. I think I may stick with this. I've used it twice and the coverage is great. It reall evens out my skin tone and you don't have to use much. One tiny little dab and brush on. I'm a fan.

Comments about Laura Geller Cover Lock Cream Foundation:

I used to use Laura Geller's Take Cover foundation that was the best foundation I ever used. Of course, they discontinued it. I tried this foundation out. Would not even compare with the old foundation. Thin, did not stay on more than 2 hours and started breaking up in splotches and I used a primer. I am going to have to hunt for another foundation and not from her line. Bring back the Take Cover, Laura.

I have been wearing Laura Mercier Silk Creme Moisturizing Photo Edition Foundation in color Beige Ivory. What color would be compatible in Cover Lock Cream Foundation. I purchased the Light in Cover Lock. I haven't tried it yet. I couldn't decide between Cover Lock Light or Medium. Thank you for your reply.

This product is loaded with Hyaluronic Acid which is extremely hydrating. This foundation will NOT dry the skin out and will add extra moisture and nourishment. It dries to a semi-matte finish.

Hello! Looks like you would be closest to our Medium in Cover Lock. Please see shade finder link below- you will find this very helpful. The coverage that Cover Lock provides is amazing, full coverage. I have applied this on many clients and have found that concealer isn't even needed! You can build the product in order to obtain more coverage, however one layer seems to be enough. It truly makes the skin look flawless! I recommend giving it a try!

This is very safe to use around your eyes. I even use another layer under my eyes as concealer. Enjoy!

Is this foundation good for very oily acne prone skin? I've heard mixed reviews. Some say they love it and other say it makes their skin so oily after a couple hours it looks like they slicked oil on their face.

                      A:

This foundation is completely oil free, so it really should not make the skin slick or oily. It was designed to be suitable for all skin types. I personally have oily skin and do not experience this problem. It is such an amazing foundation with extremely full yet natural looking coverage, so I do recommend giving it a try! If you do have oily skin, I have a recommendation that will truly help with this! Start by applying our Spackle Mattifying. This is an under makeup primer that will help with oil control. It creates a barrier so the makeup never penetrates through the skin and disappears throughout the day and has incredible skincare benefits. Please see the link below:

                      A:

Cover Lock is completely safe for acne prone skin. It contains amazing ingredients: PrimeLock Seal: Creates a protective barrier to lock out aging pollutants and environmental stressors. Daisy Flower Extract: Evens skin pigmentation to make imperfections less visible. Hyaluronic Acid: Smoothes and nourishes skin. Hydrates skin. Vitamin E, Centella Asiatica, White Tea Extracts, Aloe Vera: Delivers anti-oxidant protection. Plus, the coverage is AMAZING! You probably won't even need concealer with it. Start by applying a small amount, and then building to reach the coverage you desire.

Also, this product does not contain any SPF. If you're looking for a way to incorporate SPF into your routine, I would recommend trying our Spackle Under Makeup Primer with SPF 30. You will use this first, and then the foundation. Here is a link!
