Comments about Laura Geller Cover Lock Cream Foundation:

This has been my favorite foundation hands-down! I have combination oily skin prone to cystic acne. I also have hyperpigmentation and some scarring although both are better since I've been working on my skin over the last few years (I'm an esthetician). I LOVE this foundation! It has a light, yet creamy consistency that delivers light to full (not kidding) coverage without being heavy at all. I use an inexpensive long-wearing primer (Rimmel) and only need a tiny dab to cover my face. If I blend it our, it is almost imperceptible! It isn't matte, but has a nice slightly dewy/natural look which is important when you don't want to accentuate fine lines or surface imperfections! In other words, it makes your skin look very smooth! It is also non-comedogenic. I've been wearing this for the last 3 months and my skin has not reacted negatively at all. I set it with my Cinema Secrets Soft Light loose setting powder and it looks super natural and pretty flawless! The only drawback is that it may not last in super humid, hot, outdoor activities (which I don't partake in, so I'm not sure how that would go). It lasts for many hours with the setting powder though, so, I'm happy! :) I also am pretty pale and the porcelain matches my skin which is hard to do!

Comments about Laura Geller Cover Lock Cream Foundation:

This is the best full coverage foundation I have found so far. I find this looks best on me without a primer or powder. I have normal skin and find that this dries down fine and lasts all day even without a powder (in Phoenix in June, btw). It has a natural finish that will probably work best for dry to normal skin, very oily skin would probably need a powder on top to help it last longer. Overall it's a beautiful foundation and my new favorite!

Comments about Laura Geller Cover Lock Cream Foundation:

For everyone saying it is too heavy and cakey, I will tell you what the Ulta attendant told me- A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. I put a spot on my hand and apply with a stippling brush, building to the desired coverage. I also prime my face and set with a translucent powder since it is a full coverage, liquid, makeup and I don't want it to budge. It should be noted I asked specifically for a full-coverage foundation for nights out, as I use a drugstore BB Cream for work days, etc.

I have oily/combination skin and suffer from adult acne. I have not experienced breakouts with this product. I like the coverage and recommend getting it swatched in store to get the perfect tone.

Comments about Laura Geller Cover Lock Cream Foundation:

This foundation has by far been my favorite out of the tons I have used. I have a lot of acne scarring and just very flawed skin so if you struggle with the same I highly recommend this foundation. I don't break out with this foundation and my skin is sensitive to some. I wouldn't say it is lightweight, but it isn't heavy either. I will say it is not cheap, but it lasts a very long time because of the coverage so it is worth every penny you spend for it.

My only complaint is that the fair and light foundations have a distinct orange-ish undertone and the porcelain is TOO light. I've resorted to mixing the fair with the light to compensate but would prefer not having to purchase two at once!

This product is loaded with Hyaluronic Acid which is extremely hydrating. This foundation will NOT dry the skin out and will add extra moisture and nourishment. It dries to a semi-matte finish.

The coverage that Cover Lock provides is amazing, full coverage. I have applied this on many clients and have found that concealer isn't even needed! You can build the product in order to obtain more coverage, however one layer seems to be enough. It truly makes the skin look flawless! I recommend giving it a try!

                    A:

This foundation is completely oil free, so it really should not make the skin slick or oily. It was designed to be suitable for all skin types. I personally have oily skin and do not experience this problem. It is such an amazing foundation with extremely full yet natural looking coverage, so I do recommend giving it a try! If you do have oily skin, I have a recommendation that will truly help with this! Start by applying our Spackle Mattifying. This is an under makeup primer that will help with oil control. It creates a barrier so the makeup never penetrates through the skin and disappears throughout the day and has incredible skincare benefits. Please see the link below:

                    A:

Cover Lock is completely safe for acne prone skin. It contains amazing ingredients: PrimeLock Seal: Creates a protective barrier to lock out aging pollutants and environmental stressors. Daisy Flower Extract: Evens skin pigmentation to make imperfections less visible. Hyaluronic Acid: Smoothes and nourishes skin. Hydrates skin. Vitamin E, Centella Asiatica, White Tea Extracts, Aloe Vera: Delivers anti-oxidant protection. Plus, the coverage is AMAZING! You probably won't even need concealer with it. Start by applying a small amount, and then building to reach the coverage you desire.

Also, this product does not contain any SPF. If you're looking for a way to incorporate SPF into your routine, I would recommend trying our Spackle Under Makeup Primer with SPF 30. You will use this first, and then the foundation. Here is a link!
