Bought this set after it was recommended by an Ulta employee, I've had them less than 3 weeks and the angled brush has already broken off the handle. Really dissapointed, it worked well while it lasted.

Comments about Japonesque Complexion Trio Set:

These brushes blow most of my other face brushes out of the water. The angled kabuki brush is perfect for applying my tinted moisturizer. it blends out quickly and evenly. The stippling brush is great for blending out cream products or as a final smoothing step for my base when I get bad about exfoliating often (and have dry nose patches for makeup to cling to). The concealer brush is seriously the best concealer brush I've ever used in my life. It blends out even the most finicky and pigmented color corrector with ease. It also works as a great eyeshadow crease brush in a pinch. The small size makes them great for travelling too.

Comments about Japonesque Complexion Trio Set:

I LOVE these brushes. The small one with the white bristles is fantastic for blending my IT cosmetics CC full coverage foundation, and the large all black brush applies powder evenly without holding onto the excess. Some kind of magical brush. The small brush could even be used for eyeshadow. But I use it for my undereyes. I am in love with these brushes.

Comments about Japonesque Complexion Trio Set:

I was skeptical at first because synthetic brushes usually irritate my skin but these are really nice. I decided to purchase them after I felt the japonesque display brushes. The angled brush cased a weird texture and make parts of my skin a little "flaky," if that makes sense, but then again my skin is very finicky. I LOVE the stippling brush though. It's very soft and delicate and works well with my loreal infallible liquid foundation. I don't use concealer so I can't speak for that brush but, like the others, it is really soft. On a whim, I decided to use it for nose contour and it worked!

If you are referring to the Stippling Brush (pictured center), it blends and buffs liquids and powders into the skin. The Angled Foundation Brush (pictured right) picks up liquid, powder or cream to build coverage or contour. Those two brushes are ideal for foundation application.

Absolutely! Angled Foundation Brush picks up liquid, powder or cream to build coverage or contour. The shade of the brush head allows bristles to reach all facial contours. The Stippling Brush blends and buffs liquids and powders into the skin. The dual-level bristles allow for contouring as well.
