Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

Bottom line: I love this product. I have oily skin and it seems like I always have to settle when it comes to foundation; I've almost just accepted that I will always have to touch up or dab my face to slick up its oiliness. However, when I used this product, I stayed looking shine free all day. I love that it has medium to buildable coverage without caking up. Because this foundation seems like it dries quickly, I applied this using a damp beauty blender in sections and it worked out great for me. If you're on the fence about buying this product, I would definitely try it out!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

After using MAC studio fix for about 9 years, I decided that it was time to look for something else. I have acne prone and oily skin, and studio fix did not help that at all.

After using colorstay for about a week, I can tell you guys that I haven't had any breakouts on my face. This is not something that I was able to say when I was wearing studio fix. It's like I was breaking out every other day. This foundation dries to the skin, and gives you a matte finish. This allows people with oily skin to get more wear out of the foundation. Studio fix did not dry matte, and I had to use lots of powder over it to make it look matte. With colorstay, I only apply powder under my eyes for a brightening effect. I don't have to apply powder to my normally oily t-zone, because this stuff keeps it dry. I am finally able to wear a moisturizer under my make up without worrying that it will make my skin look oily. In fact, I find that when I do add powder all over my face when using this foundation, my face gets very oily within a few hours.

**TIP: Do not wet your sponge when applying this foundation. It will mess up the formula, and cause the foundation to roll up like dry skin on your face. I know that this technique is used to make foundation look natural, but this foundation already looks very natural. Apply it with a dry sponge.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I used this product as a daytime full coverage for work. I like my foundation to give me nice coverage for work but not look Carey or heavy. This coverage was what I would expect from a tinted moisturizer not a foundation. I am not keeping the product and would not recommend it because the color or coverage, what little it had did not stay on.

I used this foundation with the IT brush i bought at the same time. I used the darkest shade they had available and i believe the color was mocha...made me look dusty even though I'm a mocha in the airbrush line.
