My daughter wanted to have a color in her hair. It lasted maybe 2 hours. It has to be set with hairspray, did that and it still looked horrible. It was a flakey mess towards the end. Don't buy.

The product comes in an EOS-shaped container. When i opened it, i was disappointed to see that there wasnt a mound of product; it was level in the container and therefore hard to apply. I recommend blow drying your hair and hairspraying all over after use so the color lasts longer.

          Comments about Dippity Do Colorpop:

I used to dye my hair fun colors all the time but got tired of the texture of my hair from bleaching it. After a pixie cut, I let it grow out to my natural color, which is a darker brown. I keep thinking about how much I missed color so thought this wouldn't hurt to try - it's cheap after all.

I love this and it did exactly what I wanted. I put it on a section of hair to try in a bright purple and it showed up great and was very vibrant. I then brushed it out instead of hairspraying it because I hate hair spray and decided to try it.

I walked to work around 9am. It was still bright throughout the day and I had people complimenting me until I left around 3pm. It was a bit duller at this point but not bad, my skin still looked fine despite it being hot summer and worrying about it sweating off, and my white and black stripped shirt was chalk free still. It washed out easily that evening when I was in for the day.

The only down side is that once it's in, it's done for. Don't expect to style it - I carried a large hairclip in case I needed to get my hair off my neck since I knew it wouldn't take a ponytail well. Tomorrow I'm going to french braid it and then apply it where I want it in the braid because of the texture.

Don't buy this if you think you're getting the same thing you get at a salon. Do buy this if you just want it for fun or are tired of having to redye your hair every couple weeks anyway. I put it on my 6 year old niece as well and it made her day (the picture is of her since I forgot to take one of me - oops!)
