Comments about L'Oréal Colorista Semi-Permanent For Brunette Hair:

I have medium brown hair and the red color this produced was super vibrant and fun. The downside is that the application process is extremely messy and for the amount of time the dye lasts (which isn't long) I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle. This would be a great product to try out a look before you commit to a more permanent dye, but I can't imagine using this more than once.

Comments about L'Oréal Colorista Semi-Permanent For Brunette Hair:

My 8 year old daughter wanted to put a fun color in her hair before school started back. She chose the burgundy color and has medium-light brown hair.
I did her hair in an ombré style and it is subtle yet still there. Looks really cute. Hoping it actually washes out enough for when school starts back.

Comments about L'Oréal Colorista Semi-Permanent For Brunette Hair:

First off, this color is true to teal IF your hair is already bleached. My hair was already fading from a previous color (also Colorista!) so I wanted to try teal - I hadn't realized that this color was advertised for brunette hair, but I can say that my very dark natural roots were unaffected by the dye. The actual color lasted much longer than 4 washes, and even in the Texas sun it took at least 2 weeks to fade, unlike the other colors advertised for blonde or bleached hair (they fade faster, which is to be expected). 3.5 weeks later my hair is now all shades of green, mint, teal, and yes, chlorine green, but I don't mind looking a little witchy haha.

Comments about L'Oréal Colorista Semi-Permanent For Brunette Hair:

It was super easy to apply, and I was pumped for a temporary new look without having to bleach my naturally red hair. The directions were simple and straightforward, and application was easy. I loved everything about my new teal hair until about a week of daily washing hadn't removed the color, but instead turned it a super ugly green! I bought the fader shampoo, and it's made NO difference. Looks like I've got green hair forever. :eye roll:

I really liked it but it didn't turn my hair that blue, and I'm not even a dark brunette. It turned my hair rather green and I've gotten a lot of teasing about it, but it's ok.

Comments about L'Oréal Colorista Semi-Permanent For Brunette Hair:

I have medium brown hair and used the brunette to dye my ends for an ombre look. The color turned out really great after use and was super easy to apply. I loved how it turned out BUT the color came out so easily. Just in wetting my hair during styling the color would come out and within about four washes it has mostly faded. It's fun and easy for a short new look and I love it BUT it doesn't last and can be really messy if you like to use water when styling your hair. I would buy again but know that it doesn't last.

I have dark brown hair, so maybe I set my expectations too high, but the model on the box does too, so I call shenanigans. It dyed my hair for all of one day, was super faint and hard to tell, then washed out immediately.... it stained my skin for longer than my hair! The only people that noticed it only asked about it because they saw the stained skin, not the pretty teal hair that I wanted. Mega fail.

Comments about L'Oréal Colorista Semi-Permanent For Brunette Hair:

This product is awesome because it colors over dark hair, I don't have to lighten my hair at all. The first day it looked great but it was everywhere. If I touch my hair it was green. My shirt was green, everything was green. I washed my hair once and the color changed dramatically. Fades so fast. My hair is still green and it's only the third wash. It's a light swampy green not Teal at all

                      A:

Hi Sarrah! Since the color gradually rinses out with each shampoo, it is possible that it could get on your towels when you dry your wet hair. However, it will come out in the wash! As long as your hair is dry, the color won't transfer onto anything!

Hi Steph, we are so happy you loved Colorista #Red! If you want to use permanent haircolor, we recommend waiting until almost all of the Colorista fades out before coloring!

Hello Mel! We would recommend to make sure that the area where you applied the other product is completely washed out. Then we would recommend using the brunette shades in order for the color to show on your hair color. The brunette shades are teal, burgundy, red and tangerine. We hope this is helpful!
