Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I don't understand why so many people are giving this a negative review, the product must just not be for them. I cannot LIVE without this stuff. I've been coloring my hair copper red for over two years and anybody with any shade of red knows that the color fades faster than your roots could grow. I would find myself having to dye my hair every 2-3 weeks which would kill my hair. My hair just hemorrhages color. It's damaged it so bad that even if you ensure the color is on evenly and saturate it with pigment, parts of my hair just wouldn't take any color. When I first started using this, this got ALL those damaged parts. I've been using this for over eight months and this stuff has changed my life. It takes a lot of trial and error to find out the easiest way to use this. First, make sure you start using this after you freshly dye your hair. If your hair is faded, it will take several tries to ensure an even color. When you do it after you recently colored it, the color will stay in place. Also, do wear gloves! This works best for me when I'm in the shower; my routine is when I first start, I wash my hair, then mix several pumps of conditioner with a small dollop of this stuff and mix those together. I put in my hair and use a shower comb to evenly spread it out. I clip up my hair and go onto other showering activities and five minutes later, I rinse out the color. This makes your hair SO soft and it has revitalized my damaged hair. You only need the SMALLEST amount of this stuff because it is concentrated and like I mentioned before, mix it with conditioner. If you do it that way the bottle will last you a long time. Reminder to wear gloves in the shower. A few months ago I started mixing 1:2 of Warm Brown and Burnt Copper and I have the most beautiful warm coppery hair that I always get compliments on. This stuff with SAVE you if you dye your hair copper! My hair always looks fresh and I can go about two months without having to dye my hair again to get my roots.

I bought this to use on my highlighted hair between sessions to save money. Although this product is pricey, I can get a few uses out of it. It doesn't smell bad, its easy to use, and I was happy with results. It blended my roots, and made my hair very, very soft! I think it helped a lot with my frizzy, fly away pieces too!

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I was looking for a lightweight product to bring volume and body and add shine to my straight, fine, color-treated hair. This product did what every conditioning product does to my hair: made if soft and limp and impossible to style. It also dulled my hair color. At over 30 dollars, not worth the price for the results. Won't be using again.

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I used the copper and it turned some old balayage highlights at the end of my hair bright orange. My roots stayed brown is it looked like a drunk person colored it. Unbelievably terrible. It also wouldn't wash out! 10+ washes and it looks even worse. Clown red. Sitting at the salon now doing a very expensive color correction to remove it. Don't do it!! I'm too embarrassed to post a photo: it's just that bad.

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

My hair is so incredibly soft after using this. After reading reviews, I decided to leave it in for two hours instead of the recommended 20. I'm so glad I did as my hair now feels like silk instead of frizzy and damaged. As for color enhancing, I'm not convinced. I personally don't see much of a difference in that department. My blonde isn't any more golden than it already was. However, I'm happy to look over that because of how amazing it left my hair feeling and looking!

Comments about dpHUE Color Boosting Gloss + Deep Conditioning Treatment:

I really hesitated to buy this because of the price and I wasn't sure how it would work but Ulta has such a libral return policy I thought I would try it. I used this when my hair had a lot of gray roots and I should have been using a box color like I usually do so this was a pretty tough test of the product. I washed my hair first and then applied the "stain". I used a lot it seemed and concentrated on my most gray areas. I left it in 2 hours because I wanted maximum color. My hands were stained with the warm brown color and did not come clean with soap and water. I used sink cleaner with bleach and it took the stain right off. I rinsed the product out after 2 hours (cleaned my house while it was processing), applied my normal stying products and blow dried my hair. My hair is very thick and coarse and does not usually hold color well. My hair came out feeling very silky and soft. I could tell a difference in color too. My hair seemed more of a rich tone. I would say this product is like a deep conditioner with a color stain. It did not totally cover my gray but blended it pretty well. Not sure how long it will last as I just used this product.

I have now tried this a couple of times to give it the best shot I could. The first time I left it on for 10 minutes in the shower-it did absolutely nothing. I tried again a couple days later and put it on freshly washed hair and got out of the shower, wrapped my head in a towel and waited 45 minutes. It left maybe a trace amount of color but it was hardly noticeable. However, my hair was amazingly soft! So this really does nothing for color but is just a fantastic deep conditioner. I will be returning this due to the fact it doesn't do what it says, and I have plenty of conditioners.

Used the red for about 5 minutes on my already brown hair that is highlighted blond and auburn. It made the blond a muted blond with red tones and the rest of my hair a beautiful, glossy and soft deep red/auburn. I used it once and got so many compliments.

The burnt copper is a a deep auburn that really helped to deepen the color of my medium brunette color-treated hair. I would reccomend putting it on freshly washed hair and leaving it on for 30 to 60 minutes. It also did a great job of conditioning my hair when I rinsed it out.
