Comments about SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle:

Wash hair, apply to wet hair (not dripping wet), finger comb product through hair or scrunch in from ends, let air dry. Or apply to dry, next dying hair by smoothing over frizz and crunching ends to refresh style.

Comments about SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle:

I immediately returned this product. When I stuck my fingers in the product it crumbled and would make a mess whenever I tried to applied it. Part would fall, and a small chunk would remain and would be hard to distribute. It was very moisturizing though. But it was VERY STICKY AND TACKY and it was all down my neck. I could have used a lot though.

I love love love my curls and curly products. This was horrible. The consistency was plasticy. It didn't not and would not evenly distribute, even in my hands. I had chunks left in my hair. I was looking for a cheaper alternatvie to Deva Curl and this was definitely not it. I would highly recommend not putting your curls through this torture.

Comments about SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle:

Was really excited when I bought this product because I love the Shea Moisture brand. Unfortunately the gel soufflé was just a little too heavy for my hair. It remained sticky all day & felt like it never completed dried. I like more voluminous buttery curls, this is more for curls wanting to be weighed down which just makes me end up looking like a wet dog lol :( I ended up giving this product to a friend with a tighter curl pattern & she loved it! I'm going to try the curl cream next time.

                  A:

The Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Gel Souffle is more of a gel consistency and has the properties of a typical hair gel, giving hold to curls without hardening them or leaving a residue.

The Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie is a cream styler that is used to set most twist-outs and other curly hair styles; it can be used to just set curls as a leave-in. It is SheaMoisture's most popular product.
