Comments about SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser:

I love this co-wash. I am now on disability and have a limited income and had to find good products that did not cost so much. I am so glad I tried Shea Moisture as I like it better than what I was buying. This is my second bottle. I have curly hair that turns very frizzy in the Arkansas summer. This not only washes well but looks good if I blow dry or let my hair dry natural. I also like that the scent is not to strong as I get migraines easily, but it is a pleasant smell.

I used it exactly as descirbed on the bottle, and honestly I was let down. It didn't lather at all, and while I could definietly feel my hair being hydrated in the end. It just wasn't worth it, AND the bottle is small.

Comments about SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser:

This product works. It really does. But you have to use quite a bit of it to actually have it " clean" your hair. It's such a tiny bottle for the price that I would go through this entire bottle in a week and a half with everyday use. I bleach my hair so I only use co-wash type conditioners, it helps repair hair faster this way. When you put this or any other co wash conditioner in your hair, you have to literally scrub your scalp with it for 3-5 minutes for it to clean your hair.
I would recommend for this type of product, biotera 5 in 1 cleansing conditioner. You can buy it at any Sally's. It comes in a white bottle with a pump and red writing. I always try new co-wash's but the Biotera 5 in 1 is the best I've ever used. You don't have to use as much and it's thicker so it covers the head really well. Hope this review helped someone :)

Comments about SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser:

I used Head & Shoulders every day for most of my life to fight dandruff. Since discovering the Curly Girl Method, I switch to using the African Water Mint shampoo once a week, and washing my hair with this Co-Wash every other day (+the regular conditioner). I'm a month+ in, and I've had ZERO problems with dandruff. My hair has been so much softer and very manageable. Shea Moisture is my Holy Grail brand.

I have thick, high porosity, 2B/3A hair.

Comments about SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser:

I love this! It's great for keeping my hair clean but not dried out, especially in the winter. Even though I use sulfate-free shampoo, shampooing my hair every time I wash it can really dry it out. This cowash cleans better than some others I have used, and I've noticed a huge difference in my hair since I started using it. My curls are more alive and my scalp feels less dry, even though I've been alternating the cowash with my normal shampoo. Since it doesn't break up oils as well as a shampoo does and my scalp was still producing excess oil to make up for getting dried out from shampoo, the first time I used it I noticed my roots got greasier faster than normal. However, I've been alternating the cowash with my shampoo, and I've noticed my scalp's oil production balancing out pretty quickly. It does feel like you have to use a lot of product to cover your scalp, but I've noticed myself needing to use less the longer I've been using it. Definitely a must have for anyone with dry hair this winter!
