This non-irritating, naturally-foaming cleanser is the perfect start to around-the-clock control of breakouts, comedones and excess surface oils. Salicylic Acid sloughs off dead skin cells to clear clogged follicles, helping to prevent future breakout activity. Soothing, naturally-antiseptic extracts of Balm Mint, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Burdock and Camphor calm congested, aggravated skin. Skin is left clean and prepped for optimal absorption of acne control treatment ingredients. Contains no artificial fragrance or color.

How it works:
  • Naturally-foaming cleanser clears away excess oil without stripping skin.
  • Salicylic Acid aids in clearing congested follicles and soothing irritation.
  • An anti-acne blend of botanical extracts including Licorice, Calendula, Milk Thistle, Lemon Peel, Arnica and Bergamot works with Salicylic Acid to help prevent future breakouts.
  • Tea Tree, Burdock, Eucalyptus, Golden Seal and Chamomile help eliminate bacteria.
  • Camphor and Menthol cool inflammation.

We recommend that first-time Dermalogica users visit an authorized skin treatment professional for a client consultation in an ULTA store.

Dermalogica Skin Treatments available at all ULTA locations. Click here for more information.
Work a pea-sized amount into a lather in wet hands. Apply to dampened face and throat, massaging in circular motions while concentrating on areas of congestion and oiliness. Avoid eye area. Manages stress and daily acne

    By biancalynn

Comments about Dermalogica Clearing Skin Wash:

I have tried countless prescriptions for face wash for my acne and this wash was the first non prescription I tried. I can honestly say my acne has met its match. I've always had under the skin acne and nothing ever cleanses deep enough to prevent it like this does. Makeup has always caused me to break out but this really cleanses the pores. I don't even have to use my prescription spot treatment anymore. This worked better for me than retin-a did.

                  • Q:

I have oily acne prone skin and it has become worse in my 30s. I used Proactiv for years and I believe it became ineffectively after more than 10 years of use. Ive tried many over the counter products which made my skin worse so I choose Dermalogica MediBac based on reviews and have been using for the last 6 months, I not happy with the results. I don't have clear skin and I'm so frustrated. I need help on what product I can try next. Please help!!!

                      A:

Thank you for your inquiry. Acne can be a tricky condition to treat. It depends on the cause of the acne how effect topical products will be in addressing it. If topical home care products are not giving you the results that you are looking for you will need to include professional treatment and possibly medical prescriptions to address persistent acne. We recommend meeting with your Ulta Skin Therapist and discussing treatment options. She can also Face Map your skin to make sure the MediBac line is the best choice for your skin.

                      Hello Brandon,
Clear Start is Dermalogica's teen line. These products are intended for teens that are experiencing breakouts. Our MediBac line is for adult acne that is cause by chronic stress and hormone imbalances. Both lines target breakouts however, our teen line is formulated with a delicate teen skin in mind. If you are unsure which line is best for you we recommend being Face Mapped at your Ulta store.
