I love this kit I buy it for both my teenage daughters. They use it twice a day and this kit can last them two months. The only thing is if you have dr skin it does not hydrate as much so I buy their moisturizer as well for added moisture. Other than that they love it.

Hi, I'm 23 years old and just recently had a baby about 10 months ago. I've been breaking out a lot but I have always struggled with acne since I was a teenager. The ulta makeup worker advised I would buy clear start over the medibac kit because she believes it might be a hormonal thing? Does that sound right? Which one should I use? I want to make sure I get the right kit since I have tried about everything

                      Hello Kathy:

Thank you for your interest in Dermalogica. We recommend that you use MediBac, it is formulated for Adult Acne which is usually related to hormonal fluctuations. Clear Start is formulated for teens where as MediBac is formulated for adults.

                      Best Regards,

Thank you for your inquiry. Clear Start is for normal to moderate teen breakouts due to puberty. The MediBac line is for adult acne from chronic stress and hormonal breakouts. For your age we recommend that you use the MediBac line.

I'm 24 years old and have a very oily T-zone. I have a lot of blackheads on my forehead, nose and chin. I'm also red in these areas (have been for a long time, even when I was only washing my face with water). I break out fairly often, and I wonder if this is a good kit for me? Combining it with "Clear Start Blackhead Clearing Pore Control Scrub" and maybe a charcoal mask? Thanks!

                      A:

Thank you for your inquiry. If you are prone to redness we recommend only apply the treatment products as spot treatment. Use pore control scrub as a masque by leaving it on the skin for 10 minutes and them massaging it off with wet hands. Charcoal Rescue Masque may be too stimulating for your skin.

I have extremely oily skin and adult acme. I have been using the clay cleanser for oily skin and daily microfoliant along with the overnight clearing gel and the active moist. I have been doing this for over two weeks now and I am still breaking out. What should I use?

Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend adding Charcoal Rescue Masque to your regimen twice a week. Do not layer active Moist over Overnight Clearing Gel unless you need to add hydration in areas.

Thank you for your inquiry. We recommend using Daily Microfoliant and C-12 Pure Bright Serum to help even your skin tone. You will also need to wear sunscreen daily and avoid direct sunlight.
