Comments about Redken Clean Maniac Micellar Clean-Touch Conditioner:

I love redken products and was trying to find a different conditioner to use for my oily hair and thought this one would be perfect since it was lightweight. I've only used it 2-3 times and every time it leaves a weird residue on my hair and makes my hair feel incredibly oily all over. I will be returning it as I am so very disappointed.

I always used clear moisture until it was discontinued. Advised this would be an equivalent replacement. It was not. Left my hair feeling tacky and I could not rinse out the residue without shampooing it again.

Comments about Redken Clean Maniac Micellar Clean-Touch Conditioner:

I was skeptical to use this product line, specifically the conditioner, bc the reviews kept saying that it was light and that the user had to use a ton of it for coverage. However, I think that is the point. As someone with very oily scalp/roots, this is a GREAT product. yes, the conditioner is very lightweight and feels "thin" and possibly even "runny", but when you don't want a lot of weight on your hair, it is perfect. I highly recommend if you are an oily scalp - there aren't many products that help REDUCE oil, although there are plenty that help soak it up - like dry shampoos - but they also have effects on the rest of your hair. I see this as a proactive treatment to oily scalp.

I used this in conjunction with the clean maniac shampoo and had bad results. Tried Pureology for a bit and made my hair feel great. Don't like to waste products so I tried this conditioner again with a different shampoo. It's not even 12 hours since I washed it and you would think I haven't washed my hair for days. Nothing but a big grease ball. This conditioner is the worst I've ever used, drug store products would be an improvement. I'm switching to Pureology.

Comments about Redken Clean Maniac Micellar Clean-Touch Conditioner:

This had questionable reviews but tried for my daughter as we like to go sulfate and paraben free when possible. She also has really oily hair so something light helps too. She used clean maniac shampoo and conditioner and couldn't even get a brush through her hair after. We will be returning this product w the clean maniac shampoo. Big disappointment.

Comments about Redken Clean Maniac Micellar Clean-Touch Conditioner:

I was using this in addition to the Micellar shampoo. Unfortunately, you have to use way too much of the conditioner to get it to cover your hair and I have short hair. The hair does feel nice after it dries but a lot of hair seems to come out with I come it. It might be better to use once a week if you don't use a lot of product all the time.

This product felt more like it was stripping my hair than conditioning it. It didn't feel good at all. I could see where it might work well for someone with fine hair because there doesn't seem to be any weight or conditioning aspect to it. I am returning it.
