Achieve straight, sleek locks: Mist hair with ghd heat protect spray and place a fine section of dry hair between the plates of your ghd Classic Styler. Ensure that the styler is as close to the root as possible before closing the plates. Then gently move toward the tip of the section in one simple gliding motion. Repeat the process with each section of hair, gliding once from roots to ends.

Achieve stunning curls: Mist hair with ghd heat protect spray. Section the hair and lightly mist with a curl hold spray. This will help give hold when creating each curl. Place a fine section of hair between the plates of your ghd Classic Styler vertically 1 inch away from the root. Gently close the styler with minimum tension. Turn the styler clockwise by 90 degrees; continue to turn the styler by another 90 degrees as you glide from root to end. For an intense curl, pull the styler very slowly away from the head in a continuous smooth movement. An s-shaped vertical curl is created. To complete the style, repeat through all sections. Finally, separate and brush out the curls with your fingers.

Comments about Ghd Classic 1" Styling Iron:

I wanted to have a backup flat iron as there are 3 girls in my house with lots and lots of hair. I love my Paul Mitchell Pro that I have had for about 3 years now. Unfortunately, this GHD just didn't stack up to my Paul Mitchell. My hair felt extremely dry after using it and I had to go over the same hair several more times versus the PM. I have extremely thick coarse wavy hair. The GHD may work better for thinner hair, but I'd be afraid it may cause damage or dry it out.

Comments about Ghd Classic 1" Styling Iron:

I bought this being told it was top of the line and great product. Well it isn't in fact the one I bought from Sally's beauty I believe it's called psi is a lot better then this and cheaper by a ton! I used this on my daughters hair which is really wavy and thick and very frizzy and it took me over 30 minutes to get her hair which is just above her shoulder finished. I didn't fully time it but come on! It shouldn't take that kind of time especially if this is suppose to be top line stuffSo not impressed and if I didn't live so far away from an ultra I would return it also HATE you can't control the heat settings.

I don't need to go over my curls multiple times - only 1-2 times before the hair is how I want it, but I don't sacrifice my volume for straight hair!

Comments about Ghd Classic 1" Styling Iron:

I debated back and forth about spending this much on a hair tool. I'm glad I did. This is an amazing product. I had been using $20 hair irons for the past 5 years and was ready to up my game. This cuts my styling time down considerably. It leaves my hair soft, straight and healthy looking. It glides through my hair like butter. No snagging at all. I'm glad I took the plunge.

This is amazing! I can't believe I've been investing in makeup all these years, but it took me until now to invest in my hair. So much better than Remington, or Conair. Don't buy a cheap brand, this is worth the money, my hair felt soft and smooth after using it, and there wasn't a frizz to be found.

I traded mine in for one I could select a higher temp with. If I had different type hair it would be a great flat iron!!

I was looking to get a new flat iron and I went through a lot of reviews before settling on this one. it was one of the brands my stylist suggested to me, and it works great! there is only one setting, but it still gets hot enough to straighten my hair quickly with no frizz! definitely recommend, especially if you can get it on sale.

Comments about Ghd Classic 1" Styling Iron:

I should have paid more attention to the lack of heat settings. I have fine hair and I know this is going to damage my hair if I keep using it so I will be returning it and trying out a Sedu with temperature control. It does heat up fast and made my hair smooth and shiny. Had some trouble using it to curl my hair though but maybe it was just me. This would work great for someone with thick hair who needs over 400 degrees of heat.
