    Great Mineral SUnblock

    Pros :
    All Mineral Sunblock.
Did not irritate my skin or cause breakouts
Nice tint with quick dry down
    No fragrance
    Cons :
Wish the SPF was a 30.

I will purchase again. I have dry skin plus using retinol so my skin gets dry. This would definitely be moisturizing for normal skin. I do need to put a moisturizer on under this as the zinc oxide pulls out all my moisture on top of using a retinol. Also if you do have dry skin it will cling to dry patches. I use this daily for everyday for work inside and commute. Outside I would need to add a higher SPF. I prefer all mineral city block 25 versus the city block 40 chemical/mineral blend as the all mineral coats the skin and blocks the skin as soon as applied versus being absorbed.

Comments about Clinique City Block Sheer Broad Spectrum SPF 25:

First, I LOVE clinique. I gave this product a test drive for about 2 weeks. I applied it under my Foundation, I found it to be too thick for my skin, and I was only within a couple hours after sitting all my makeup. I ended up returning this lotion and purchasing the even better skin tone correcting lotion SPF 20. I have very oily skin and I'm in my late thirties.

I have used this sunscreen since it was first launched; I use it daily, and alternate it with the higher City Block spf. I use Renova and need daily sun protection. This is free from chemical irritants and provides continual protection. It also doubles as a primer.

I adore Clinique's City Block because it is free of chemical irritants and doesn't bother my skin; it does, however, protect my skin from UV rays. I wear it all year long.

When does a tube expire? I use it for sun protection and I've had a tube for a year...is it no longer good? I had read that spf degrades over time. I wore it outside the other day and I felt I got a sunburn, so wondering if it has expired. I could find no markings on the tube.

Hi! This is a very lightweight sunscreen that feels nice on skin under makeup. You would apply a moisturizer under it. If you have dry skin, you may want to try Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion Plus. If you have Oily Skin, you may want to try Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel.
If you are in need of an entire 3 step skin care system, you should try the entire Clinique 3 step skin care system! Thank you for your question and have a great day!
