Lock in moisture with the CHI for Ulta Beauty Red Pro Dryer. This professional hair dryer produces negative ions for shiny hair. Comments about CHI for Ulta Beauty Red Pro Dryer:

I've now gone through two of these dryers - the heating element stopped working on both of them within a year of purchase. Problem is I've tried to replace it with so many other dryers (various brands, high and low end), but haven't found anything that compares. When it's working - I love the way it drys and smoothes my hair, it's lightweight and easy to use for styling. So (unfortunately), I'm buying a third one and know that until I find something I like better, this will be an annual investment.

Comments about CHI for Ulta Beauty Red Pro Dryer:

I think I used this for maybe a year and half. I loved it. I really did. It was lightweight, didn't take long to dry my hair. This morning, it got super hot on me and then all of a sudden got cold and wouldn't heat up again. I am soooo sad! This is the second bad hairdryer I've purchased from Ulta and I'm so done.

Comments about CHI for Ulta Beauty Red Pro Dryer:

I was using this product for about a year and a half before the blow dryer no longer was able to heat up. I had to buy a different blow dryer because I was not going to blow dry my hair with cold air. This was very disappointing especially because now I just have to throw that one away.

Comments about CHI for Ulta Beauty Red Pro Dryer:

I bought this hairdryer thinking I was investing in a high quality product. I have had it a little over 2 years and the heating element has already gone out - so now I need to get another dryer. I loved how it worked, but it did get a little too hot and there was no way to control the heat. Don't waste your hard earned money on this.

Time to replace the blow dryer, decided to spend the extra money in one I knew I could rely on. I am pleased overall.

          Love how light this is!!

Comments about CHI for Ulta Beauty Red Pro Dryer:

I was a little worried about spending so much money on this hair dryer at first but I trust the chi brand because I have their straighteners and ever had a problem with them before so I gave the dryer a try when it went on sale the only reason I'm giving it four stars is because of the buttons they are not exactly in the best places they are right on the handle where you have to hold the dryer obviously, so that makes it very easy to turn it off by accident!! it does get a little Annoying until you get used to the dryer!! but I love how fast it dries my hair I have very long thick hair that tends to dry out very quickly so I need to use the diffuser which came with it along with the concentrator attachment which is great for on-the-spot styling!! I have fibromyalgia so it is sometimes difficult for me to hold a heavier hair dryer for as long as I need to to dry all this hair and the fact that this is so much lighter than my older dryer is a major Plus for me!! so far the quality is very good just as good as the straighteners that Chi makes! I have had this dryer for about 5 months so time will tell if it will last as long as my straighteners do but my first straightener is still going strong after 9 years the only reason I bought a new flat iron was because my hair is so long and I needed the bigger plates on my new straightener! overall if you're thinking of purchasing this I say go for it just keep in mind that the buttons are going to be a little awkward at first until you get used to the dryer other than that it is a great hair dryer it's very powerful it's very quiet and lightweight and so far very dependable but like I said I've only had it for 5 months so I can't testify as to the longevity of this hair dryer.
