Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

I am loving this curling iron so far. It's very easy to use. I am not a person who always curls my hair and quite honestly I have always felt like I could never get my hair to look like those girls with beautiful, long, flowing hair. Boy was I wrong. All I needed was the right tools and I finally have it. I would suggest to give this a try. I pair using this iron with the Paul Mitchell thermal hair spray and my curls are held the entire day. This is a must have, great for beginners like me.

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

This is my second one, the spring on the first one wore out after about 2 years and unfortunately I didn't save the replacement springs it came with otherwise I would still be using it. I use it almost everyday, It moves smoothly through my hair and doesn't stick. I highly recommend this curling iron.

        Be Careful

        By Suzyannah

        from Tennessee

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

There are a lot of good reviews, but be careful! It did not curl my hair. In fact it almost damaged the ends of my hair! If you buy it make sure you use it right away so if it doesn't work you can return it. I wanted it to work so bad! Ceramic is much better for your hair, but it just did not curl my hair! I talked to my manager and she suggested the Salon Curling Iron, not ceramic. So if you buy the ceramic, save your receipt!

what is the difference in the nano ceramic and the tourmaline ceramic. which is better. Also can you buy additional springs for these. I know these wear out quite regularly. The iron lasts longer than the springs

                      A:

The difference is that the white and black curling iron is NanoCeramic, which is just a finer grade of ceramic. Yes, replacement springs may be ordered directly from Hot Tools. Their contact info can be found within the product manual that comes with this curling iron.

Hello! I have a medium length hair - it falls half way my back. It is very dry, frizzy and damaged. I need help in choosing which to choose - gold or purple or something else. Also, which barrel would give me nice loose curls without causing further damage to my hair? Confused between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2. Please advise! Thank you.

                      A:

The larger the barrel, the looser the curl! Since you have such long hair, try the 1-1/2" model. Ceramic Tourmaline helps to infuse hair with moisture and shine, so it is a great option for damaged, distressed, or over-processed hair. This is the option we'd suggest for you based on your description of your hair.

The 1 1/2 inch barrel should work perfectly for you! And you can use either CeramicTI Tourmaline or Gold, depending on your preference. If your hair is damaged or over-processed, you may prefer the CeramicTI Tourmaline, since it produces far infrared heat for moisture retention. Enjoy!
