Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

Live in Florida and the humidity is awful! Usually I will spend so much time on curling my hair and it looks great for about 15 min. Then it starts to lose the curl, and that's without going outside! But this tool made it quick, hair felt soft not stiff and the curl was perfect. I even when outside for about 10 min with high humidity and while it did start to lose a little curl (but I also didn't use product), it still looked good. I woke up the next morning with a nice wave to my hair still. I love this item!! With product I'm sure my hair will look even better.

Curls only last 2 hours with thick hair

    By Caitlin C

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

I was excited to pick this up, hoping to add this to my morning routine to give my self a faux blowout look. It definitely does the trick but the curls just don't last and it's not due to lack of effort. I've tried this with primer, gel, hairspray, pinning curls and allowing them to cool for 20 minutes no matter what I do they just don't last. Now with their gold iron I have no problem with curls that last for two to three days with only a light mist of hairspray. It's something about the ceramic line that just doesn't work for my hair. My hair is fairly damaged so I was hoping with would be a healthier hair solution it's not.

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

I have had the largest barrel for about a year, which I loved so much I went back and bought a 1" barrel. I've probably used the 2" barrel 40 times in the past two years, and when I went to use it yesterday purple flakes were fried into my hair. The "ceramic" coating flaked off the inner part of the clasp.

Love how quickly it heats up and it's very easy to use. Keeps curls silky and smooth. I did accidentally switch it off while using it the first time because of the location of the on/off switch, and as with most curling irons it snags the hair a little bit, but overall I'm very impressed!

Hello! My hair is shoulder-length and I want the ability to create both beachy waves and tighter curls. Could you recommend a barrel size? And should I get a curling iron with a clamp or a heated rod to wrap my hair around? Thanks!

The 1 1/2 inch barrel should work perfectly for you! And you can use either CeramicTI Tourmaline or Gold, depending on your preference. If your hair is damaged or over-processed, you may prefer the CeramicTI Tourmaline, since it produces far infrared heat for moisture retention. Enjoy!

Titanium heats the fastest to the hottest temperature, so it is a great option for thick, coarse hair. Ceramic Tourmaline helps to infuse hair with moisture and shine, so it is a great option for damaged, distressed, or over-processed hair. We hope this extra info helps!
