Inspired by her great love of cashmere against bare skin, she introduced the modern classic in 1994. Since then, the luxuriously sensual fragrance has grown to become an American favorite.

THE CASHMERE MIST BOTTLE.
Donna Karan's late husband Stephan Weiss founded Donna Karan Cosmetics in 1992. A sculptor by profession, he also created most of the packaging. For the Cashmere Mist Fragrance bottle, Weiss was inspired by the sensual lines of a woman's back. He fashioned his abstract design from frosted glass to emulate the refreshing nature of the scent. The same design was used for many of the body and bath products, often differentiated by a change of texture and/or color. The legendary bottle has become an icon in the fragrance industry.
