Comments about Pacifica Cactus Water Lotion:

This feels, smells, and works well as a moisturizer. However, I am not all that sensitive and it gave me very big and sore cystic acne.

If you're 100% not sensitive, you may love this.

Comments about Pacifica Cactus Water Lotion:

Call me Indiana Jones, because this has become my holy grail summer moisturizer. Let me lay it out for ya: My combination-tending-toward-oily-but-easily-dried-out skin is pale, sensitive, and acne-/blackhead-prone. Since junior high, I've tried lotions and oils from Clinique, Cetaphil, Neutrogena, Tarte, Alaffia, small-batch producers, and more. Each left my skin wanting (or drowning... or breaking out... or drying out...).

I was drawn to Pacifica because of their more natural take on skincare. Trying new products is like Russian roulette for my skin. (I tried tea tree oil products once upon a time. Never again.) But the search must go on, right? So I picked out the Cactus Water Lotion due to its positive reviews and its ingredient list (no red flags like willow bark extract -- like tea tree oil, never again).

The Cactus Water Lotion sinks into the skin but manages to keep it hydrated all day. Only a small amount is necessary to cover my entire face, so a tube lasts me anywhere from three to four months (twice-daily use). The scent is light and the formula is neither greasy not sticky nor textured, and it doesn't leave behind an unflattering sheen. It has yet to clog my pores, cause a breakout, or jump-start oil overproduction. It also doesn't bead or lift up if you sweat through it. Huzzah for a new skin BFF!

If you have dry skin or live in cold or harsh climates, you may need something with a little more "oomph" and substance. But if you're in the market for a lightweight moisturizer that doesn't break the bank or break out sensitive skin, give this a whirl and see how you like it.

Comments about Pacifica Cactus Water Lotion:

I purchased this moisturizer at the beginning of December 2016 and have been using it through the month now morning and night, daily. Application is very smooth and spread-ability is great! It feels like a gel-cream rather than a lotion (lackluster and more viscous feel). The consistency is thin, yet still moderately hydrating on my normal skin. I do have some adult acne and this has not aggravated it in any way. I noticed that redness in my cheeks has subsided too, which could be due to conjunction with my Derma|e soothing cleanser. The scent is very light and natural, not perfumey but more natural floral water. The ingredients are exceptional and do not contain red flag comedogenic ingredients for acne skin such as nut oils, shea butter, or several popular fatty alcohols which seem to be ever present in moisturizers. I will definitely keep this in rotation and the price is very reasonable for the amount given! I love the tube packaging to keep product relatively safe from air, light, and fingers. If you are suffering from any cosmetic induced irritation, I would highly recommend giving this a go, or if you have easily congested skin.

          My new addiction!

          By DMarie84

Comments about Pacifica Cactus Water Lotion:

I love finding more natural products for my skin and face that actually work. I've noticed a difference in my skin texture; my dry and tired skin is much smoother and more firm. And the smell is light and refreshing! Not strong at all and fades over time. This is a staple in my skin care now.

I absolutely love this moisturizer! I was looking for a paraben free healthy lotion for my face. It has been extremely dry during the winter months, and I needed a quality product. This is definitely it! The lotion goes on like butter. Its so smooth yet lightweight. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy at all. its calming and I think it helped with irritation from another product. I will be buying this product again and again.

Comments about Pacifica Cactus Water Lotion:

I always try to find all natural skin care products when I can and I love pretty much anything made by Pacifica. This lotion has dramatically improved the redness and dry spots on my skin. The smell is light and refreshing. My face always feel rejuvenated after using it. And the best part is that it's
              affordable! Highly recommended.

Comments about Pacifica Cactus Water Lotion:

I've been searching for a natural face cream for a few months now since aveda discontinued their outerpeace lotion which was the only moisturizer that didn't break out my skin.

Absolutely everything I've tried has broken me out or made my face red. I've tried so many brands like Sunday Riley, Pai, Acure, epicuren, Avalon, mad hippie, and more. Nothing worked.

Bottom line..if a cream is giving you bumps...you need to return it. I don't believe "your skin is detoxing" or purging. Don't buy into that. Took me some time to figure that out since I assumed my skin should tolerate anything organic. IT DOESNT! My skin was clear when I was using aveda's outer peace acne lotion.

Anyway, this CREAM IS AMAZING. No allergic reactions!! I couldn't be happier on this dreadful journey searching for the right natural cream. It has been so exhausting.

If you like THICK creams...this isn't for you.

I have light skin, blonde hair, dry skin, 26yr old, sensitive to so so many things sadly

Cleansers that have worked for me: I use neutrogena naturals gel cleanser or epicuren lemon cleanser, mad hippie cleanser (eyes makeup)

THANK YOU TO THE CHEMISTS THAT FORMULATED THIS STUFF!!!
