Just another lip balm

Comments about Lalicious Brown Sugar Vanilla Nourishing Lip Butter:

I ordered this in hopes of receiving more of a lip treatment (which I don't think it claims to be). But I did have hopes this would at least be better than just your typical Chapstick. It claims to be a "nourishing lip butter" this does have a thicker consistency than a Chapstick but almost feels as if it sits on the lips instead of actually nourishes the lips and moisturizes. Also, it actually feels gritty on the lips. Almost as if there is actual sugar in it. This is suppose to moisturize, not exfoliate. I'm not sure about the website but when you receive it in the mail it says you can wear under your lipstick. I tried that and the gritty texture underneath my lipstick looked disgusting. I will say it does smell like cake (not overpowering) so I did like that. I will not purchase this product again and will most likely throw away what I have. Hopefully they will work on the formula.
