Comments about Marc Anthony Brightening Coconut Butter Blonde Shampoo:

For starters, anyone expecting for their hair to have an immediate color change is expecting too much from this shampoo. If you want a more drastic change, try John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo (even though this one is tons more damaging to the hair). I have been on the hunt for a gentle lightening shampoo that doesn't dry my hair out. I have been using this for about a week straight, every night when I shower. It brings out my highlights in a natural way, and most importantly I haven't noticed any brassiness in my hair yet., the shampoo is tinted purple so it prevents orange tones. 10/10!

Comments about Marc Anthony Brightening Coconut Butter Blonde Shampoo:

I got this product because I was looking to lighten my hair without paying a salon. I had heard good things about John Frieda's lightening shampoo, but can't use it because it has sulfates in it and will give me a rash. I grabbed this shampoo because it promised the same thing, but gentle with no sulfates. To my surprise, it's also a slightly purple toning shampoo! So it both tones and lightens. It's a good multitasking shampoo, though it doesn't have really extreme results. It didn't lighten my hair so much as bring out my natural highlights. I'm taking away a star because I do wish it lightened stronger. Also, it has an absolutely overwhelming smell of coconuts. You might like it if you like coconuts, but to me, it smells like I'm trying to wash my hair with cheap sunscreen.
