Comments about Julep Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil:

I bought this product because I am getting low on the rosehip oil I use now by Peter Thomas Roth. It's pricey and hasn't had a promotional discount in awhile. I had high hopes for this oil by Julep , which is a fraction of the cost. It doesn't soak in the skin very well. I can only use it at night because of that.
It's a decent product, but not for me.

This oil is magic! I about a week and a half ago as a gift from Ulta and Julep. I was hesitant, only because I've never used a moisturizing oil. I've been using it every day, usually in the morning and at night. I put it on after washing my face, and follow with moisturizer. My skin gets really dry in the winter, and it ca,e early where I live. I had a bad dry patch on my face, and in less than a week it was all healed up! I am grateful that Ulta and Julep sent this to me to try, and it will stay in my routine.

Comments about Julep Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil:

I have to say this is very different from any product I've ever used. I was worried that it would leave a oiling or greasy feeling but it dries quite nicely and I can't feel it on my face at all, except to make it very soft.

      Lovely

      By OkBae

      from undisclosed

Comments about Julep Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil:

So I've had this oil in my stash for awhile. I've been a Maven for yearsss and mainly stuck to their polish. When I decided to start using their beauty items, this oil was introduced. Knowing nothing about proper skincare I thought to myself "Oil?!?! On my FACE?? I'm oily enough as it is. No thanks!" But I kept it. Fast forward a few months and I'm hearing great things about oil cleansing, especially for oily acneic skin like mine. So I whip this baby out. First impressions:
      1. The smell is interesting. Kinda musky. I like it! I get tired of florals.
      2. It's not thick like say castor oil. It's thin and spreads easily. Nice!
      3. It's a tiny bottle! But when I realized I could use two drops MAX on my face and neck, I was pleasantly surprised.

So I use it as a last step in my shoddy skincare regimen. And I get a little oily in the T zone but nothing new there. Whatevs, I tried. Fast forward six months later to two weeks ago when I was sick and tired of my foundation sliding off my face before noon, and I learn that I'm oily because my skin is dehydrated. Why did it take me so long to find out?!?! So I model my skincare regimen after the Korean method and within two days my skin started to improve. This oil keeps moisture in my skin and makes me feel super smooth despite my acne. I love it! I also use it on my cuticles right after I get my nails done. Fabulous stuff ladies. And that's saying something, coming from a person with sensitive acne prone skin that has ignored most other products for years.

A lot of reviewers received this item free. I am not one of those lucky folk. I've been a maven for longer than I remember.

I received this product as a free sample, Thanks Ulta and Julep! I was very excited to try it and was impressed at how lightweight it was and super absorbent on the skin. If I am home all day and will not be using makeup, I wear it after cleansing, before my moisturizer because personally my skin with any oil looks more on the greasy side by the end of the day. That is why I put the only con as "greasy", not necessarily in a bad way, its just how my skin reacts to oil after an all day wear. However, I use it daily at night and let the Vitamin E do its work, my skin feels soft and refreshed and gives my skin a great glow. I will surely be purchasing when I run out, a little goes a long way so for the price you get a lot of bang for your buck.

I was looking for another facial oil, one that wasn't as oily as Bio Oil. This Julep facial oil is light, smells wonderful, and absorbs quickly. I have combination skin and must be careful not to use it near my temples because it is very sensitive.

Not as good as Luxe Repair Serum

        By lizen

        from Dallas

        Verified Buyer

Comments about Julep Boost Your Radiance Reparative Rosehip Seed Facial Oil:

When Julep discontinued Luxe Repair Serum, I was supremely disappointed (and still am), because it was perfect; the best facial serum I've ever used. Ordered Boost Your Radiance when I ran out of Luxe Repair, and although BYR is a good serum, it isn't great. The scent is nice, but the serum is very thick and takes a long time for my dry skin to absorb. In the two weeks that I've been using it (twice daily), I've seen a modest improvement in my skin, but nothing like that of Luxe Repair, which was almost immediate, longer-lasting, and actually made my skin look and feel softer and healthier. I'll use the rest of the bottle, but unless I see improvement equal to Luxe Repair, I won't buy it again.
