Introducing a new line of luxury makeup brushes designed with sisters Sam & Nic Chapman, the stars behind the top-rated YouTube channel Pixiwoo. The Bold Metals Collection by Real Techniques pairs unbelievably soft bristles with striking metallic detail. Handles are weighted for optimal control and comfort. Refined artistry cuts offer high performance and mastery of any look. Let your brush do the work of perfect makeup application. Color-coded system corresponds to the key steps of makeup application:

  • Gold = Base
  • Platinum = Eye
  • Rose Gold = Finish

Real Techniques Bold Metals 300 Tapered Blush Brush has an expert-designed bristle shape which provides focused application of cheek color. Highlights and sculpts across cheeks for a seamless finish. Bristles are perfectly spaced for an air-brushed, buildable application. Easily apply color to apples of the cheeks, and blend to your personal preference.

Features:

  • Bristles: Softer than ever for the most luxe feel to date. White bristles show exactly how much makeup is on the brush before application.
  • Ferrules: Premium quality brass ferrules for maximum durability.
  • Handles: The brushes are weighted for perfect in-hand balance, optimal control, and comfort. Unique geometric handles help brushes stay still on your dressing table without rolling away. Handles taper to a diamond tip that easily slides out of pro brush belts.
  • Cuts: Refined, hand crafted artistry cuts offer high performance for ultimate application of makeup.
  • Tips: Individually tapered, synthetic tips allow for advanced product pickup and a buildable, pristine finish.

Comments about Real Techniques Bold Metals 300 Tapered Blush Brush:

I Absolutely love this brush. Let's start with the look of it first. Can I just say how beautiful this brush is. Picture does not do it justice because it looks so much better in person. I personally don't use it to apply blush since I'm not much of a blush girl myself but I have to say this brush is my go to for applying my UD highlighter. My highlighter goes on beautifully with this and the best part is you can see exactly how much product you are using. I see some reviews referring to the price which I think is affordable given the good quality. Worth it!

Comments about Real Techniques Bold Metals 300 Tapered Blush Brush:

This brush is great quality, feels heavy and expensive in your hand, and doesn't roll off the counter due to the great flat edge detail on the handle. It applies product well and blends evenly. My one complaint is that it's a VERY small blush brush. Compared to their traditional blush brush, it's almost a third of the size.

                        Hi Kitty,

I've not personally tried Laura Geller's Baked Blushes, but I can tell you that our Bold Metals brush is very much a prestige (higher end) makeup brush, using our softest and highest quality bristles and will probably be great for those blushes!

                        Thanks.

                        Hi Alexa,

The Tapered Blush Brush is one of our most popular Bold Metals brushes, not only because it's our softest bristle-type out there, but because it is so multi-functional. It works really well as a blush brush, but the smaller head shape and bristle cut make it perfect for highlighting, contouring and other more advanced makeup techniques.

I think this brush would work well with the Glow Kit, and I think you will love the softness and performance!

                        Thanks! :)

                        A:

                        Hi Alexa,

I wasn't too familiar with the Colourpop line, so I've done some research for you to try to help you figure out what brush would work best. Based on several YouTube reviews and checking out the product type ourselves, our first recommendation would be the Expert Face Brush (Ulta Item #2244502). This seems to be the brush that most of the YouTube vloggers recommend due to its size and density. It also is our best selling Real Techniques brush because it is so multi-functional - you can just about use it for anything.

If you're looking for a bit more of a sheer finish, I would also recommend you take a look at our Stippling Brush (Ulta Item # 2230003). It's not quite as dense as the Expert Face, which means the product will go on lighter. Plus, the cut of the bristles here may lend itself better to the texture of Colourpop.

                        Hope that helps!

                        Hi Lisa,

Awesome question! It is so important to clean your brushes on a regular basis!! And we are thrilled to let you know that we have a Real Techniques brush cleanser available for sale at Ulta that will help you do just that! You can find the cleanser here:

                        http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod13121017

We recommend you clean your brushes every week or two. If you use a lot of makeup on a daily basis, definitely once a week is recommended.

Real Techniques has also developed this very cool brush cleansing palette (available on Ulta.com here: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod13731029) that has just become available. This has been specifically designed to help with deep cleaning of the bristles, which enables your brushes to perform better (they definitely work better when they are really clean) and last longer.

                        Hope that helps!
