Comments about Real Techniques Bold Metals 100 Arched Powder Brush:

I initially had no intentions of buying anything from this line given the price. I thought to myself, why would I spend so much on a drugstore brush when there are high end brushes for just a little more? This brush is THE most high quality I have ever seen and I am in love. So so so soft I can hardly stop touching it.

Another thing I love about this is that it picks up product well but it doesn't hold onto it like others do. This makes it so easy to use all over my face to set my foundation, then tap tap, go into my bronzer and bronze, tap tap, blush.

This was used on a demo with me and happened to be on sale so I went for it! Feels so nice when applying powder! I like that it is large as, for me, it makes my makeup look more natural in the end. It is a little more than other brushes but take the plunge, you won't regret it!

I didn't even get to use it. It's too heavy and bother some. It seems it could be a really good brush but it has weight to it. Returned.

I got this brush for Christmas. It had nice packaging and when I took it out, I was super happy with the softness and the quality of this brush! It feels very soft against the skin and it applies my powder nicely so far! I haven't cleaned it yet, but since this brush is very high quality, I wouldn't use any home-made DIY techniques on cleaning it, maybe investing in some brush shampoo could really save the softness and the quality of the brush hair.

I've been eyeing the bold metals collection for a long time. I finally purchased on a BOGO 50% off with a gift card. I'm so glad I did! This is not my go-to brush for powder. It's incredibly soft and fluffy. It feels heavy and expensive in your hand. I love the attention to detail on the handle as well with the flat edges.

Comments about Real Techniques Bold Metals 100 Arched Powder Brush:

After reading some of the reviews I'm surprised..this brush is very good for the price. Its super cute, applies evenly and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to buy it. Those who think this brush suck are probably used to suuuper expensive brushes..which will naturally be better. But I really enjoy this brush, This is one of the nicest brushes I currently own. If you're used to high end brushes you may not like this brush but if you're like me and dont want or cant afford to spend $40 on a brush then try this one out! Im not disappointed

                    Hi Steph,

This is actually my *favorite* brush for bronzer application! One of the things you want in a bronzer brush is one that has bristles that will lightly disperse the product across a bigger surface area, rather than denser bristles that will concentrate the product right where you place it.

The bristles on this brush (which are so unbelievably soft, btw) are perfect for getting that sun-kissed look that a bronzer will give you.

                    Hope that helps!

Is this brush good for loose powder? I use it with the Laura Mercier loose powder and I feel it doesn't pick it up alot. Is it made for that purpose? I feel I don't have any product on my face. Would you recommend any other Real Technique brush?

Is there any difference between this brush and the 103 powder brush that was part of the 3 piece set besides the angle?

                    A:

The angle of the bristles was the main difference between these two brushes, but the 103 Powder Brush was also designed to have a slightly larger head and more bristles that the 100 Arched Powder. The size of the brush head plus the angle enabled a bit more contouring around the face, whereas the 100 Arched Powder's slightly smaller head and broader cut is perfect for blending!
