Comments about Real Techniques Blush Brush:

This is very soft, but the bristles are almost too long. If I want to pinpoint a spot to get a little more pigment (ie apple of my cheek), it's hard to control the bristle movement. It may just be my technique? The brush swipes the product on very evenly and I like the finish. I do have a personal dislike for the handle shape: since it is wider at the end, it is hard to put upright in a jar with other tools. It kind of snags them when I take it out and tends to cause a spill. Minor issues, I still think it's a nice brush for a good price and I am happy with it.

Comments about Real Techniques Blush Brush:

I've always been a budget buyer... but I'm slowly replacing all of my brushes with Real Techniques. Soft. Versatile. Keeps the blush and power even. Doesn't make a mess by blowing powder all over the place. Love it and dare someone to take it!

Comments about Real Techniques Blush Brush:

I use this brush daily as a blush brush only. I really enjoy the even application and soft feel. My Mary Kay blush and this brush don't take much to go a LONG way. I think Real Techniques brushes are well worth the money and a much better buy than uber expensive brand brushes that will give the same or lesser result.

This is a great brush for the price. It easily picks up powder and could be used for blush or highlighter. Very soft as well. I thought it would be smaller than it is but I still like it.

This brush does not pick up my blush. I bought a nice quality NARS blush and the brush doesn't pick up anything. Such a waste of money! I tried another blush I have that is Ulta brand and same thing....this brush was a huge disappointment. I don't understand the good reviews. What blush are u guys using because it doesn't pick up either one of mine.

Hello, I have dry skin so I was wondering which brush would be better to apply my powder with. The blush brush or the powder brush?

                      A:

                      Hi Beauty Buzz,

Fortunately, both of these brushes are made from synthetic, hypo-allergenic fibers and are some of our softest bristles, so I don't think you should have any issues like you might with bristles made from animal/natural fibers.

The powder brush has slightly more bristles and a wider head & dispersment (since it doesn't have to be as focused of an application as blush), so you may find that one works best.

                      Hope that helps.
                      Thanks.

                      Hi Neesha,

Great question! One of the things people love most about our brushes is that they have multiple uses, and using the Blush Brush for a bronzer is one of them, so yes, you can definitely do that! :)

Personally, for applying bronzer, I like a brush that has a bit of a broader head to it, and so my favorite brush for that is our Bold Metals Arched Powder Brush (found here: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/browse/productDetail.jsp?productId=xlsImpprod11831007)

The bristles on this brush are our softest yet! And, because they are not as dense or compact, you're able to gently sweep bronzer across your face to really get that sun-kissed look.

                      Hope that helps!

The Sculpting Brush is designed for contouring & highlighting and can also be used for all over foundation application. It is compatible with both cream/liquid and powder products. The Blush Brush is designed for use with powder formulas and can be used for both blush and contouring.
