Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Blossom Soiree DIY Nail Art Kit:

The box was sealed when I bought it, but there was no instruction sheet inside as advertised on the side of the box. If I want to get my money's worth, I'd like to know exactly how to use this product.

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Blossom Soiree DIY Nail Art Kit:

Although the product was a little difficult to apply I was opptomistic because they looked lovely on my nails. I followed the instructions when applying. I had one flower on two nails on my left and right hand. Within a 4 hours the flowers were losing their color and then even made the top coat lift allowing water underneath. By the end of the night I had to removed the paint from those nails and repolish them minus the flowers. Love red carpet but this is not worth it and I returned it to the store.

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Blossom Soiree DIY Nail Art Kit:

I reviewed the packaging and thought the finished design looked really pretty. After purchasing the kit, I determined that you will either need complete concentration and a deft hand to apply the decorations or you will need to visit a professional nail artist for assistance. One type of flower is extremely tiny and can disintegrate during handling. The other is difficult to apply and a clear polish overcoat makes it disappear. Also, the instructions call for using some of the brand's products that aren't included in the kit!

My advice: Don't waste your money.

Comments about Red Carpet Manicure Blossom Soiree DIY Nail Art Kit:

I have many other Read Carpet products that I love. I was so excited to try the flowers. I followed all of the steps. I used 2 flowers on different hands. I still cannot figure out how they just kind of dissolved because I applied the Red Carpet topcoat as per instructions. I didn't have time to fix it when I woke up in the morning so I tried reapplying with a regular (non gel) top coat - this is the method I use with nail crystals etc. Somehow the flowers still dissolved/disappeared and my nail just ended up looking like a goopie mess. I removed the remnants and reapplied the gel polish. FYI the flowers seem to be actual pressed flowers which I thought was kind of cool until I tried to apply them - they were stiff and did not go on smoothly.

I was excited to use this product. Using dried flowers as nail art seemed like a really cute idea. The two colors included have a streaky thin formula so I didn't use them. I used a different blue red carpet gel polish that I have. I followed the instructions exactly. After my second coat of color cured I applied a dried flower and gently pressed down. It stuck nicely. I applied my top coat over it and cured it. At first the flowers looked great and really popped. Over the course of the day they turned more transparent and the base color came through. It looks splotchy, and one of the flowers lifted. I will be redoing the nails with flowers on them after only a day. Just doesn't look good.
