I love this brush. It's soft and dense. It applied my foundation great (Revlon Colorstay). I also used it for my concealer. I have combination skin and thought this applied perfectly.

Comments about Real Techniques Blend + Blur Foundation Brush:

I recently bought this brush and I absolutely love it! Don't get me wrong, I also love my beauty blender for more full-coverage foundations, but with this brush, I get a fast and smooth application. It works well for most of my foundations, with no streaks. I will probably purchase in one or two of the smaller sizes as well!

I was really excited when I saw that Real Techniques was coming out with this brush. I wanted to love it but oh my god my face burns after I use this. I don't have sensitive skin; I can't imagine how someone with sensitive skin would react to this. Save your money and get the Real Techniques sponge, it is much better.

Comments about Real Techniques Blend + Blur Foundation Brush:

I have the Cailyn O Wow brush and I wanted a second paddle style foundation brush so that I have something when my first brush is drying. This one gets my light coverage foundation on in the mornings much quicker ( bigger surface area). The Cailyn however gets under the eyes and between the brown better( pointed shape). So this is better for work makeup and I will save the other one for the higher coverage days.

I loved the application and would definitely buy the brush again. The only thing that I found that I did not like was the bulk of the head. Unnecessary size of the brush head. It would have been nicer if that part was more flat. Otherwise, nice weight, great application, well made. Quality I have come to expect from RT.

Comments about Real Techniques Blend + Blur Foundation Brush:

I have seen the other pricey brushes similar to this one, but I didn't want to spend that money on it. When I saw Real Techniques made their own version, I jumped right on it. Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes and no. The name-brand one is over $60+ per brush and this one is around $20 per brush. It works well and does not leave any streaks, but so does my flat-top kabuki brushes.

It's a novelty that I am glad I have, but I will probably not purchase any more from this line unless the price decreases. I love the original Real Technique brushes and this one is a quality product, but the price is a little hard to swallow.

                    Hi CDST,

The bristles are make of synthetic taklon, just like our regular Real Techniques bristles.

keeping in mind that I am only using the brush for POWDER application -not foundation but blush, bronzed, setting, finishing... which brush would u recommend -the b&b foundation
brush or the all over brush? also, is the only difference between these blend & blur brushes, the size of them? or are the bristles packed differently to get a different finish. I will not be using these brushes for foundation at all, only powder (but not powder foundation)

                    Hi Ashley,

I would recommend the Blend and Blur Foundation brush if you're using powder all over. The smaller head will probably give you a bit better control over pickup of loose or pressed powder.

                    Thanks!

                    A:

                    Hi Patti,

The biggest difference is the size. The All Over Brush is definitely bigger than the Foundation Brush.

The Foundation Brush is perfect for application of foundations (liquids, creams or powders) and even some bronzing and blush.

The All Over is absolutely perfect for blending out your final look, as well as applying finishing powder, etc. I have found, though, that after I apply everything (foundation, powder, blush, contour, highlighter, etc) that I take my All Over Brush, do a sweep and blend quickly and it just sets my look perfectly.

                    Thanks!

                    Hi Zeola,

Great question! You can wash these brushes just like you do your other ones. I recommend using a cleanser specifically formulated for make up brushes. Real Techniques actually makes a pretty great gel cleanser you can find here: http://www.ulta.com/deep-cleansing-gel?productId=xlsImpprod13121017

We recommend weekly or bi-monthly cleaning, depending how much you use your brushes. To clean them, dampen bristles in warm water and squeeze a drop of gel onto bristles. Rub between fingers and rinse until clean. Reshape and dry flat or with handles tilted slightly upward.

                    Hope that helps!
