Comments about DevaCurl B'Leave-In Miracle Curl Plumper:

This is kind of like a gel but it's also kind of like a styling cream. It's slightly sticky but does not weigh down my hair. It really helps shape my curls and makes them nice and bouncy. By itself, it does not do a great job at fighting frizz. I often have to pair it with other deva products to help with the frizz.

Comments about DevaCurl B'Leave-In Miracle Curl Plumper:

This product goes on smooth with no clumpy spots in the hair. I find it lightweight but effective. It gives me the hydration of a leave-in but also curl definition like a gel. It has replaced my DevaCurl Light Defining Gel AND SuperCream. Not a fan of the scent, but it faded quickly.

I bought this product for my son. He has very tight curls. I used the product after his bath and it really helped his hair stay frizz free. Over night he didn't get the usual knots either and the smell is not too overpowering.

Comments about DevaCurl B'Leave-In Miracle Curl Plumper:

When I first tried using this product, it was as a part of my usual Devacurl regimen (Delight shampoo and conditioner, B-Leave In, styling cream, then gel), but it did not work at all.
After the recommendation of a Devacurl stylist, I tried adding the B-Leave In after I had added in the styling cream and gel and then towel dried. HUGE DIFFERENCE. My curls/waves look INCREDIBLE ALL DAY LONG. My curls are defined and perfect, and my hair is shiny, soft, and not weighed-down at all. I cannot live without this as a part of my routine now.

Comments about DevaCurl B'Leave-In Miracle Curl Plumper:

yeah.....me either! Was seriously disappointed in this product. I didn't put anything in my otherthan this product and let it air dry in a clipped position (my hair is down to my mid back) and then took it out. Everything dryed fine but about an hour later my coworker asked what was all over my black cardigan :( sadly this is another product of the Devacurl line I will be returning. My curls are in between very curly to tight coils

As a child i had slightly wavy hair naturally. My hair isn't very thick, and it's become slightly straighter. I want to train my hair to be wavier and curlier with the use of a product. A friend who did the same thing recommended a deva curl product but i'm not sure what to use to get the wavy/curly look I want to achieve. Recommendations for my situation?

For cleansing and conditioning, I would highly recommend trying our Delight Low Poo and One Condition Delight. Delight provides weightless moisture and helps enhance the shape of waves. It is formulated specifically for finer, wavy hair. The balanced, light formula cleanses the scalp and hair while fighting frizz and oiliness. It's made with rice protein for body and fullness, lotus flower for bounce and a chia-flaxseed extract blend for defined waves that last. For styling, you may want to try our new Wave Maker, it's our new whipped cream styler that offers voluminous, frizz free touchable texture that lasts.

              • Q:

I have used Devacurl and Ouidad products in the past. Overall, I think Devacurl is better, but not sure what Devacurl products to use. Currently, I am using the "Supercream Coconut Curl Styler", but it leaves my hair looking dirty, dull, and wirery. I think I have 3B-3C hair type (maybe more on the 3B side). My hair is fine, but have alot of it and it lacks curl in the front, but a lot of curl in the back. I recently got a Devacurl defuser and want to get the right products to make my hair look healthy and moisturized . I have researched the B'lieve leave in conditioner, but not sure if that is what I need. Please suggest the products and the step by step instructions on how I should use them for my hair type. Thank you so much for any advise you can provide.

If you love cream stylers, try Styling Cream. SuperCream contains Coconut Oil, Jojoba protein, and Corn starch to provide maximum conditioning, touchable hold, and frizz protection for Super Curly and Curly hair textures that crave moisture.

Styling Cream contains Tapioca Starch and Jojoba protein to condition, nourish, provide soft touchable hold, and protect frizz on curly and wavy hair textures.

For best results, you can leave a bit of our One Condition in and don't rinse it all the way out, it will act as a leave in. Apply B'Leave In to soaking wet hair by rubbing between your palms, glide downward for elongated curls and scrunch upward to enhance and boost your natural curls. Follow with the Arc AnGel.

I have curly (not tight but more than wavy) and I am using the no poo and one condition along with the styling cream and ultra defining gel but I feel as if my hair is not clean, like it is weighed down, what do you suggest. I really like the ultra defining gel and styling cream so I feel like it's the no poo and maybe the conditioner??? I have purchased the low poo regular but not thrilled with it either.

I have natural wavy hair that tends to frizz a little when it is air dried. I would like to find something that I can scrunch my hair but does not get crunchy or feel like there is product in it. Would this be the best styling product?

Hi Liz, so you'd want to start with Low-Poo and One Condition Delight. Together, they will give you the weightless moisture and body you are looking for. For a styler, we can suggest Frizz-Free Volumizing Foam or B'Leave-In followed by Ultra Defining Gel. You don't have to follow with Gel, it's a preference thing. You can also use the UDG directly without a styler to preceed it. Hope this helps.

I love deva curls. Also what can I use to make it spiral at times to change look

I'm been interested in devacurl because I have heard good things about and I'm tired of straighten my hair because I can not keep my curls in control but I don't know what product to use because most of the line showcase women with super curly hair and not loose curls.

You should use Original No-Poo, One Condition or Decadence depending on your hydration level. I would tend to say Original tho. Follow with B'Leave-In and a gel or just B'Leave in for loose bouncy curls. Be sure to apply any Deva styling product in wet hair in the shower. Dry with a DevaTowel, then don't touch your curls until completely dry. Then scrunch to release the cast.

I can definitely make it more curly or less depending on how I style it. I need volume/fullness tho. And i want my curls to clump, not look stringy. I also need frizz control

Hi Shelly, a few tips: you may prefer Low-Poo for your waves. And for a styling product, you may like the Frizz Free Volumizing Foam for more volume. Be sure to apply any of our stylers in soaking wet hair. To finish (and for added frizz control) you can use B'Leave-In which will also give more volume.

I have long, very fine, porous, wavy hair & a lot of it. I've been straightening it for months but now am starting to scrunch it again because the longer it gets the harder it is to keep straight and I want to keep it healthy w/o all the heat damage. My hair gets really dry & frizzy so I'm wondering if this would be a good product for me to use after showering or dry hair? Should I still use a leave-in conditioner in addition to this and would I need to use the Deva cream or one of the gels in addition to this as well? Any recommendations would be helpful. Thanks! :)

Hi BPJ, I believe I answered a question for you yesterday regarding Light Defining Gel. Let's see, refer to all I said in the previous response regarding curls have memory, and let's continue. B'Leave-In is similar to our gels, but you will get a bouncier curl with it. I use it on warmer days and get a great large bouncy curl. It will work differently on your hair as our curl type is not the same. You would apply this product the same as you would apply any of our gels: in soaking wet hair in the shower. The routine I recommend when using this product is No-Poo, One Condition, leave a bit in (or not, you have to experiment to see what application works for you), and then apply B'Leave-In. Keep it simple with this product. For other days, you can certainly do No-Poo, One Condition, Styling Cream, Gel. Hope this helps.
