Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

I got an Ulta offer for a free Clinique foundation if I came in for a consult - so I decided to try the 'Blend it Yourself', since my foundation collection is getting ridiculous. This gives a great alternative to multiple steps when I am rushed in the morning. If you are looking for full coverage, this might not be the best choice for you, but if a light coverage/tinted moisturizer works for you, give it a try.

Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

I wanted something with lighter coverage than a BB cream, but couldn't find a tinted moisturizer in a color that works for me. BIY is Clinique's answer to that puzzle. It's the perfect color because you blend the color to your preference and it has the finish of your moisturizer. I'm fair and chose color 105

Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

I'm very happy to find this. As someone who breaks out easily and has very sensitive skin, I trust Clinique. One thing I really struggle with though is needing moisturizer and a little coverage, yet not feeling like I have too much on my face. I actually mix this with the moisturizer I already use. (It is recommended to use the ones they sell to go with it, but I found it works just fine either way.) It makes the perfect tinted moisturizer that works with my skin. Less additional ingredients to clog my pores and still buildable for more coverage as well. It simplifies my makeup drawer, my routine, my stress. Finally:)

Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

I have been having super dry skin this winter and foundations exacerbate it as well as any tinted primers. I've found a moisturizing sunscreen that I add this to and it's perfect coverage. I use 105. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that you have to squirt out what you're going to use of the moisturizer/sunscreen and along with a few drops of this product to blend so it's not self contained. BUT this also means you can customize the amount of coverage you want on different parts of your face.

Love it, love the coverage. Don't always love that it's much thinner than my mousiterizer, so it tends to run down and over my hands a little as I'm about to apply it, and I waste like half a drop because it doesn't stay near my mouisterizer to get mixed and applied.

Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

When I saw this in the Ulta store, I had to have it. I applied my regular moisturizer, then blended the BIY drops into my sunscreen. Then I applied the combo and used some bronzer to contour. Viola! A naturally flattering look. It is buildable and you can use more drops to go deeper. Love it!

It does what it says it will do, which is awesome. I thought I loved it until a few hours later I had a few blemishes. Couldn't have been the moisturizer because I use it daily and don't have this problem. This product is great, just not for my skin type.

I was told this product would give me full coverage after 4 drops....it doesn't even do that after 6. I'm very disappointed that I spent money on this. I was told the foundation I was previously using would still work even when I got a tan. It does not. This was the employees "solution" to this. It doesn't work.

Hi! Every brand offers a point of difference. The Clinique BIY drops are oil free and allergy tested. They are pure pigment drops and do not contain heavy waxes, so they are great for oily or acne prone skin. They can be mixed with any moisturizer of your choice. If you would like to try this product, you can also visit any Ulta store that carries a full line of Clinique products. We look forward to working with you and hope you have a great week!

I am trying to decide between 105 and 110; I'm very fair, warm-neutral, usually the lightest or second-lightest shade. The 105 would probably be a good match, especially in the winter (I don't get that much darker in the summer, just a little) but I wonder whether it makes sense to go darker with this product since it will be diluted by the moisturizer. (I expect to use only a drop or two for minimal coverage.) Is that a good approach?

Hi! These are pure pigments, so you should match your natural skin tone vs. going a it darker if you are looking to match your skin perfectly. Shade 105 does have a neutral undertone. You will love the fact that you can control the coverage you are looking for each day. Thank you for your interest in Clinique and have a wonderful week!

Hi! You can mix it with many moisturizers, and yes, to your great point, it will change the texture and finish of what your wearing. If you felt like this was too heavy on your skin, you could try mixing it with something like Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, or Moisture Surge Extended Thirsty Relief formula. Lastly, if you are not looking to add another moisturizer, you could always mix it with your sunscreen. It looks like with Clinique's City Block spf. Thank you for your question and for your interest in Clinique!

Hi! I apologize, but we do not carry the Acne Solutions BB Cream product at Ulta. We do carry the Age Defense BB Cream spf 30. Knowing the shade range of what you are currently using, I would suggest using Shade 120 if you have golden undertones and 125 if you have neutral undertones. Thank you for your interest in Clinique!
