Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

The sales gal recommended this to add to my current concealer instead of buying another color for summer, said it was super easy to just mix the 2 on the back of your hand and then apply. I mixed it on my hand, the color did not mix the same as she showed me on a Kleenex in the store so the match to my skin was off but then I couldn't get it to wash off of my hand, it was stick in the fine lines after several soap washes and I had to just let it wear off through the day. I tried a drop in basic moisturizer (like the box/bottle suggests) and the coverage was perfect if I liked wearing full coverage makeup, which is specifically what I'd said I didn't want and needed just spot coverage. I had just enough time to return it but now have to go back or to another store to try to find the right color.

Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

This product was okay but the directions to apply were wrong in my case. It said to use 1-3 drops depending on amount of coverage. I never could get the color correct because of the white(sunscreen) in my face lotion. I even used more drops then recommended and still had difficulty finding the correct shade. The more drops used, seemed to change the consistency of my face lotion. I need something fast and easy with no guess work.

I absolutely love this product. This is the first "blend-it-yourself" product I've ever used, and I love it. It feels very clean and soft, it corrects well without giving an overdone look. It's so natural, and very high quality.

Comments about Clinique BIY Blend it Yourself Pigment Drops:

For oily to combo skin this leaves the skin looking almost wet, and far too shiny. Even with time for the product to "soak in" it stays shiny. The color etc. is good, but I dislike looking wet. Not sure if a person with dry skin would have this problem. FYI when I use my regular moisturizer withiut this product I am not left shiny, greasy and wet looking, this is how I know the problem isn't with my moisturizer.

I got an Ulta offer for a free Clinique foundation if I came in for a consult - so I decided to try the 'Blend it Yourself', since my foundation collection is getting ridiculous. This gives a great alternative to multiple steps when I am rushed in the morning. If you are looking for full coverage, this might not be the best choice for you, but if a light coverage/tinted moisturizer works for you, give it a try.

I wanted something with lighter coverage than a BB cream, but couldn't find a tinted moisturizer in a color that works for me. BIY is Clinique's answer to that puzzle. It's the perfect color because you blend the color to your preference and it has the finish of your moisturizer. I'm fair and chose color 105

Hi! BIY 160 or Bronze may be a nice option for you. If you would like to try this, we would love to work with you in store. If it is convenient for you to visit the Ulta store nearest you that carries a FULL line of Clinique product, we can color match your skin, and even offer a sample if you would like to try it at home. We look forward to working with you. Have a great week!

                    • Q:

I have normal, mature skin. I'm not a fan of foundation, but yet any of the tinted moisturizers I've tried look good at the start of the day but by midday the "coverage" is gone. If I were to use three drops of the BIY with a non-tinted moisturizer, would I be able to get a coverage that is more than what I'm getting now but not look like foundation? Thanks.

Hi! I believe it sounds like BIY is the type of coverage you are looking for. If you want more coverage, you can add more than 3 drops. It is easy to customize, and many people enjoy it. One tip that may help is to guarantee that you are exfoliating daily. You may want to try Clinique's Clarifying Lotion twice a day to sweep away dead skin cells that can cause your makeup to fade during the day. If you would like to try BIY, we would love to invite you to the Ulta store nearest you that carries a FULL line of Clinique product. We can color match and even send you home with a sample if you would like to try it at home. Thank you for your question and have a great week!

Hi! It was designed to be used with moisturizer, as moisturizers do not contain pigment. These drops are pure pigment, so if you add it to your foundation it will change the pigment level of your foundation. It will not hurt to try this, but wanted to make you aware, as it will change the consistency a bit. Thank you for your question and have a great week!
