Comments about Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Re-Hab Clay Mask:

To preface this comment, I have naturally curly hair - type 3a/3b curls, Indian hair and I've been suffering from protein overload for my hair.
I read that clay masks are great at removing all the toxins from your hair....so I figured I would give this a go
I used the Shea Moisture low porosity shampoo, then used this as my conditioner, my curls are so defined and so soft its insane...my hair has been left incredibly thin b/c of the whole protein overload thing but this stuff had made my hair feel so thick, like it was before....left it in for 5 mins...that's all you need in the shower...

If you're a curly girl that has protein overload, just try it!!! Will definitely be repurchasing!!!

Comments about Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Re-Hab Clay Mask:

I got this whole large sized jar for free with my Biolage Scalp sync shampoo and conditioner and I was weary to use it since I have chemically bleached hair and I have to be cautious with what I use on my hair to keep its health.. Well first off you have to use a LOT of this product to get evenly on all your strands. It definitely has a clay like texture to it. I let it sit on my strands for 10 minutes even though the package says 5 minutes ( I always leave my hair masks on longer than it says to so as to make sure my dry hair gets all the moisture). As soon as I rinsed this out of my hair my hair had a gross film on it like some cheap drugstore conditioners have. And then the WORST part, it tangled my bleached hair up so bad I had to put my most heavy duty leave in conditioner and even that didn't save my hair from the handful of hair that got ripped out of my scalp. Very damaging! Btw I LOVE Biolage, their other hair products are amazing so I'm not trying to bad mouth the brand, just this product in general is bad. Do not recommend, ever.

Absolutely the worst mask. No wonder it comes in such a BIG JAR - they can't give this away quick enough!! Not moisturizing, made a mess of my shower, and left my strands in tangles.

            Good, but heavy.

Comments about Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Re-Hab Clay Mask:

I knew this mask would be thick because of the clay in it but MAN I wasn't prepared for exactly HOW thick it is. I would recommend dividing your hair into small sections and applying mid length to the ends only. I put this all over from root to ends and it made my root area a little greasy. This is also very difficult to comb through, which is why I say to work in very small sections. This mask does a great job at adding moisture, but so much so that I wouldn't use it too often. Also be sure to rinse VERY VERY well.

Comments about Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Re-Hab Clay Mask:

Got this in a whim. Always very picky with what I put on my hair and skin. I'm a curly girlwent natural a couple months ago, and man the products are limited out there to things that are free off all that junk. I got this and use it the same weekend. The consistency is pretty thick but light goes on OK but doesn't detangle that easily alone so be extra gentle ladies who don't use brushes. Otherwise after rinsing felt nice not heavy at all which I love in products. Don't want anything to heavy to just curls. After saying it my normal why (devacurl and Shea moisture products) I'll tell you there was a difference just with that one use. My hair felt extra soft and curls looked a little tighter, hair was June a bouncy. I had a awesome curly hair day! Excited to see the results with more uses.
Also, great size for the price!

Matrix Biolage R.A.W. Re-Hab Clay Mask is a deep conditioner. After using a Biolage R.A.W. Shampoo, smooth the mask evenly from roots to ends. Leave in 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. It does not harden.
