Online Only Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% Acne Treatment

2.0 oz Item 2157426

Treat breakouts seriously. Blemishes from adult acne, hormonal acne and even stress develop when dead skin cells trap the P. ACNES bacteria in the pore. Oil then builds up and inflames the pore. Primary considerations to treat and prevent blemishes include exfoliating dead skin cells and minimizing oil. Acne can be treated with a cleanse, treat, moisturize and protect skin care regimen that effectively restores harmony to the skin to achieve a radiant clear complexion. This powerful acne treatment gel decongests pores, controls and treats blemishes and helps prevent future breakouts from occurring.

Key Benefits:

  • Fights & controls acne
  • Helps prevent blemishes from occurring
  • Helps keep pores clean & clear

Dr. Sobel's powerful Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment gel contains 5% benzoyl peroxide, a tried and true tested organic compound that oxygenates clogged pores and frees them of sebum and debris. This bacteria eradicating ingredient is combined with tea tree oil, a natural antioxidant, to protect the skin from harmful bacteria and help prevent future breakouts. Glycerin helps to keep skin moisturized and not dry, a key essential to healthy skin, especially skin prone to breakouts. Experience the doctor's dermatologic blemish fighting acne control treatment for clean and clear skin with fewer breakouts. Ideal for use as a spot treatment for on-the-go breakouts.

Dr. Sobel recommends: Cleansing skin thoroughly before applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because too much drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two to three times daily if needed, or as directed by a physician. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, use a sunscreen. Allow benzoyl peroxide product to dry, then follow the directions in the sunscreen labeling. If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of both products and consult a physician.

Sensitivity Test for a New User: Apply product sparingly to one or two small areas during the first 3 days. If no discomfort occurs, follow the directions stated above.

Precautions: Using other topical acne medications at the same time or immediately following use of this product may increase dryness or irritation of the skin. If this occurs, only one medication should be used unless directed by a physician. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. Do not use on large areas of the body. Stop use and ask a physician if rash, irritation or sensitivity develops and lasts. When using this product, do not use in or near the eyes. If eye contact accidentally occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a physician before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion, get medical help or contact a poison control center right away.
Active: Benzoyl Peroxide.
Other: Water, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben.

Comments about Ddf Online Only Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% Acne Treatment:

I use this product as a spot treatment for my heavy acne areas after using a cleanser and another acne cream from DDF, I moisturize after using this product or it will dry out my skin. I've seen amazing results in just 4 days of using this this miracle treatment! I've struggled for over 10 years with acne and it has been exhausting trying everything I can. I'm very pleased I tried this and can't wait to see what my results will be in the coming weeks!

This product instantly worked on my face. Immediately big pimples shrank and while it does dry out your skin (I use 1-2 times a day) pair it with a great moisturizer and you'll be fine.

I tried the Rodan and Fields unblemish line that had similar ingredients- it is just as effective and a quarter of the price! It has helped with hormonal breakouts as an adult...effective and safe to use daily. I haven't even experienced any drying of my skin. The texture is smoother than ever!

Was in shock of how good this works!!! Saw results immediately!! After cleansing my face I would apply and later in the day I would reapply (no makeup day). But make sure not to use too much because then it will start to peel. Just use a little and i promise it will still be effective. I use this product with their face mask too. My skin hasnt looked this clear and good since hs!!

Comments about Ddf Online Only Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 5% Acne Treatment:

This is literal holy grail for me. Ever since I started using this almost a year ago... my breakouts are way less intense. Sometimes when I slack off washing my face consistently... I get a breakout on my chin/forehead and sides of my temples, then I'm like "nooo!" and I religiously wear this every night before bed and in the morning before work. After about 3 days I already see it clearing drastically and within a week it is usually mostly gone depending on severity. The only other thing I do is lightly wash my face morning and evening with Cetaphil face wash and use aveeno moisturizer during the day, and a night cream. Keep in mind I have an extremely oily T-zone... so breakouts happen quite easily if my makeup brushes aren't pristine or if I skip a night of washing (even if I had not makeup on that day)

I'm on my third tube so I decided I should give it a great review. Im in my mid thirties but still get blackheads and mild acne and have a very shiny t zone. I can put just a little bit of this on my nose chin and any blemishes and it clears them up within a day and leaves my skin looking clean but not red like other benzoyl peroxide spot treatments. Only product I've found that clears my nose of blackheads. I don't put make up over it until it's fully absorbed and use an oil free moisturizer or primer first. Need it forever!
