Take a few scoops of your base, blend in the pure oil(s) of your choice, and add a few drops of your favorite Beauty Hack scent. Add a good-for-you ingredient from your kitchen to kick it up a notch. Discover your perfect mix for face, skin or hair.

Product Care:

Beauty Hack works best if you blend as you use, this way you can customize for daily or weekly use treatments. Work with smaller quantities to avoid excess left-over product, especially if using a fresh ingredient from your kitchen in your Beauty Hack mix. Mix what you plan to use immediately; excess quantity should be discarded

Precautions:
  • Do not use a metal spoon or bowl as it lessens effects of clay
  • Use warm water to mix clay
  • Natural clays vary in consistency and absorbency. Add more or less water for desired texture and consistency

Comments about SheaMoisture Beauty Hack Face + Body + Hair Aztec Bentonite Clay:

I used Bentonite on my scalp only a few uses thus so far. My scalp and my hair was not in the best shape. I was advised to make a paste with a minimal amount of water (only utilizing stirring of it with a plastic utensil). I applied the Bentonite paste to my scalp and I have experienced miracles. The composition of my hair changed for the better and my scalp is healthy with just a few uses. I understand I can totally boost my experience with mixing the Bentonite with other clays as well. So far so good. Really.

Comments about SheaMoisture Beauty Hack Face + Body + Hair Aztec Bentonite Clay:

Used it with water, and it turned clumpy. It was just clumpy and gooey. Application was hard to apply due to its clumpy consistency. I don't know if it is just this brand that make it clumpy like that. Can't really see much result due to the consistency of the product.

Comments about SheaMoisture Beauty Hack Face + Body + Hair Aztec Bentonite Clay:

This is one of my favorite Bentonite Clays I ever used. This left my skin glowing for days after one use! I actually ended up purchasing the Avocado Oil and the Lemongrass Fragrance Oil. I used more water in my mix because I wanted a creamier texture. SheaMoistire I am impressed !

Comments about SheaMoisture Beauty Hack Face + Body + Hair Aztec Bentonite Clay:

I was not happy with this product and returned it the next day. It is a great concept and I used it with coconut oil and tea tree + grapefruit oils. I measured the ingredients precisely but the consistency did not apply well even after mixing it twice. It was not worth it, and while my skin felt softer after application, it was not very effective. I did not try using the mix to make a hair mask, so that may be effective, but it did not work well for making a face mask. It makes a mess and I personally couldn't see myself using it routinely.

No questions just recommend users try using a little apple cider vinegar with this mask to avoid lumps.

I've tried mixing the clay with just water. The consistency is clumpy yet watery and has a lot of chunks in it. Applying it is almost impossible. How can I fix this?
