Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I use it every day and keep it in my purse for touch-ups throughout the day. I don't even need a mirror for touch-ups because it blends very easily (no make-up lines)! I use a kabuki brush to apply and have not had any problems with blending.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I like this as a mattifyer and to add a little extra coverage to my liquid foundation. That being said, I usually have to reapply midday, because I'm pretty oily by then. I like how easily it applies, and i haven't had problems with color consistency yet. This was my second time purchasing and I am going to try her matte maker powder, but i will likely repurchase this.

It lasts a long time and I use it daily. Most of the time I use as a setting powder, but I have used as foundation in the past as well. I love this product and it works perfectly.

This is my second compact of this product. I used my first one down to the plastic. In summer it's light and cool and I use it over my moisturizer/ sunscreen product to blend skin tone; but in winter it acts like my setting powder.

I loved the Laura Geller BB Cream in medium which I'm finding out has been discontinued or just isn't available anymore. Would medium in this be too dark or similarity this? And I have extremely dry winter skin. Will this powder make the flakeyness worse?

If our BB Cream in Medium worked, then this product in Medium will work perfectly for you. Thank you for your love for LG products! Balance-n-Brighten is one of our best selling products, it orders medium-buildable coverage and looks incredibly natural on the skin. Since you have dry skin, I do recommend trying the Quench-n-Tint. This is our updated version of the BB cream. The shade medium should work perfectly. I use the Quench-n-Tint first and then Balance-n-Brighten over it. Please see the link below so you can read more about it. Enjoy!

I am grey haired and previously used Bare Minerals powder foundation in Medium. Once my hair lightened to grey, my skin tone seemed lighter as well. Do you think fair or light would be best? I do have warm undertones in my 59 year old complexion....colors normally good for me are wines, burgundies, etc. Thanks!

Hi, I've never tried this brand before. I have oily to oily/combo skin, prone to acne, and disappearing acne scars with a good amount of redness on my cheeks. Can this product cover all that? Is this meant to be full coverage? Also, what type of brush works best with this?

This product delivers medium coverage, however it is buildable. I like full coverage, so I use a cream foundation underneath and then this as a setting powder. If you later this on top of our Quench-n-Tint hydrating foundation (sheer coverage) or the Cover Lock Cream foundation (full coverage), you will have the most flawless, full coverage you can imagine! The denser the brush, the more coverage you will obtain. I like to use a big fluffy kabuki brush that is very dense, that way it'll grab a lot of pigment and give me the coverage I am looking for. Enjoy!

It absolutely will! Apply in the morning while you're doing your makeup and if you get oily throughout the day, you can apply a light dusting just over the oily spots and it will absorb oil without building. I also recommend trying our Spackle Primer that mattifys the skin and helps with oil control. Please see the link below!

I have been with Laura Geller New York for 7 years and this has been and still is my favorite product ever! It is very long lasting, gives the perfect amount of coverage (not too much and not too little) and it's very versatile- meaning you can wear it alone, or on top of a liquid foundation for extra coverage. Because it is baked, you can apply it multiple times throughout the day and it never looks chalky or cakey or powdery. Another option, is try using our Matte Maker. This is an invisible oil absorbing powder that will eliminate shine and oil without adding more makeup. This might be a good idea if you were extremely oily and need to use several times throughout the day. Check out the link below!

My favorite powder foundation has been discontinued or no longer being carried at Ulta. Could you please recommend a shade comparable to Stila illuminating powder foundation in 30 Watts. I'm unable to make it into a store so could you please recommend a shade, Thanks kindly!!

Hello! Based on the information given to me, it seems like our baked powder in the shade of medium will be perfect for you. We have two different baked powders to choose from. The Balance-n-Brighten, which will offer medium coverage, or Double Take Foundation, which will offer full coverage. I invite you to check out the powders online and read about which one suits your needs best! I have also included a link to our foundation shade finder. Enjoy!
