Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I really like this powder foundation and actually don't use it alone, I apply super lightly over a foundation just to set it and add a little color. I was color matched to the medium but sometimes notice in pictures I look kind of dark. I may have to try the light, but as far as the product itself goes, it wears well, looks good, feels really light, isn't really shimmery. I've purchased this product twice before and am happy with it for the most part. Does not cause me to break out which is an added bonus.

I love this powder and get mad when I hit pan! It's great for summer when it's too hot to put a full face on but still want great coverage! I just bought my fifth one and wouldn't go back to the brand I used previously!

Love this product for quick, lightweight coverage. I'm lucky to have pretty good skin and this product is perfect for the minimal coverage I need to look/feel polished. For a powder foundation, it surprisingly stays on all day. And, as a mom, I love that it takes minimal time to apply.

15 seconds to done skin. Looks great, buy her kabuki brush to apply a lot at once and be done in an instant. Make sure skin has been moisturized to some smoothness first.

I have been a loyal user of a different mineral makeup since it came out. I was given a sample of Laura Geller to try. I like that it is baked, & it has the different colors baked into the foundation. So far so good, just hope it stands up to my very oily skin

Not for those of us who want to put on make up once in the morning and be good for the day. I'll redo my makeup if I'm going out for the evening but I don't want shine within an hour of putting it on. Color and quality seem ok but not my thing - returning it.

Hello! Based on the information given to me, it seems like our baked powder in the shade of medium will be perfect for you. We have two different baked powders to choose from. The Balance-n-Brighten, which will offer medium coverage, or Double Take Foundation, which will offer full coverage. I invite you to check out the powders online and read about which one suits your needs best! I have also included a link to our foundation shade finder. Enjoy!

All of our products are hypoallergenic and are very safe for sensitive skin. The Balance-n-Brighten contains skin loving ingredients like botanicals white tea extract and centella asiatica. These provide anti-aging benefits and help protect the skin from free radical damage, so you should actually start to see skin improvements when you use this product regularly. If you do somehow get a reaction, you can certainly return it back to ulta.com, however I think you're going to be very happy! It is worth a try because this product is so amazing. Enjoy!

There is no SPF in the balance-n-brighten. If you're looking for some SPF protection, I would recommend starting with our Spackle Under Makeup Primer that has SPF 30. Use this first, and then the foundation. Not only will your skin be prepped and primed for the foundation, you'll receive the protection you're looking for! Please see the link below to the Spackle. I am fair to light with yellow undertones but some redness on my cheeks so I tend to buy foundations with warm or neutral to cover the minor redness, for example I wear MUFE in Y215 and it matches pretty well... A:

This is a foundation that delivers medium-buildable coverage. It usually does a great job at cutting away redness and covering mild rosacea. I would recommend using an under makeup primer (try our Spackle Primer in Spackle Soothing- see link below!) first. This will start to tone down any redness and will hold the foundation on, keeping it looking fresh all day long. Enjoy!

Because this product is made up of multi-pigmented swirls of color, it is an extremely forgiving product. Based on the information given to me, it seems like Golden Medium should be perfect for you. Please see the link below to our foundation shade finder... this should help you greatly!

I am sorry, this does not come with a brush. I recommend using a larger, fluffy brush... something like a Kabuki brush. Keep in mind- the more dense the brush, the more pigments it will grab, and the more coverage it will deliver. Enjoy!
