I have only used this product a few times, but I really like it. My intentions was to use it during the day to touch up my makeup. The only thing I would change is there is not a makeup applicator with this product or a place to store one.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I had asked the consultant for a "brightener/something to give that healthy glow", but without the glitter look to be used as a finishing powder. This product does not give that look, it is more of a matte finish, and just "ok" as a finishing powder. As for a Foundation, for me, it would never work because it doesn't cover very well. Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I have used Balance and Brighten since it first came out. I use many Laura Geller products and am always happy with the results. I use this with a small powder puff to apply instead of a brush. It evens out my skin tone and covers redness. Depending on the time of year I can wear fair, light and medium shades. It's so fast and easy to quickly apply this, add some mascara and lipstick and I'm out the door.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I live in South Texas and the weather is usually hot and humid which makes my oily skin a nightmare to work with. I bought this product after reading reviews online and ended up really loving it. It's my favorite makeup so far. It doesn't look caked on my face or feel heavy, hot, and gross on my skin after being subjected to the heat. It also doesn't settle in the fine lines of my face, which is something I hate with other makeup products. It feels light and I love the way the color blends and looks natural. This is now my go-to makeup. I love it and would recommend it to friends. It is a little pricey, but I plan to buy it again because it makes me feel comfortable in my skin.

Great powder foundation that is not as dry-looking as other powder foundations. The range of colors has increased, which is great...but this foundation is very forgiving.

                    A:

If you would like to use this wet, I recommend lightly spraying a large fluffy brush with some water. A light mist will do, it will not work the best if it is soaking wet. Spray your brush, dip into the compact, and buff onto the skin. Enjoy!

Hi, I have cool undertones and light skin. The porcelain is too light, though, and the medium is too dark. Do you have a suggestion?

                    A:

Because this product is made up of multi-pigmented swirls of color, they are extremely forgiving and will self adjust. I recommend trying the fair. It does have warmer tones, but there are cool tones swirled in there as well! Here is a shade description for your reference: http://www.ulta.com/shade-finders/laura-geller-foundation-finder/

True medium is too chalky looking. I have yellow undertones and the golden medium looks too yellow. What might be a good choice.

If you are on the lighter end of the medium spectrum, definitely try the light. This has lots of yellow swirls but isn't too yellow. If you are on the deeper end of the spectrum, try the golden medium. From experience, I have not found this shade to be too yellow at all. Enjoy!

Balance n Brighten in porcelain seems a tad bit light for me. I am very fair, with cool undertones. The fair shade is too yellow. My question is , would the shade medium possibly work for me, as it is stated to have cool undertones?

                    A:

You can always try using the medium and if it's too dark, apply one more layer in the porcelain on top of the medium to deepen it. These products are extremely forgiving, so you'll never have a line of demarkation under your jaw. Please see the link below to our foundation shade finder:

I love love love Laura geller it's the only makeup I use. I've always got the balance n brighten medium but sometimes it's easy for me to end up looking a little dark but I wouldn't say I'm a fair skin tone.. would it be a better idea for me to get the balance n brighten in fair and get the bronzer to warm it if it needs it? Or should I stick with the medium.

I actually love the balance and brighten in fair! It has swirls of all these light colors that lighten and brighten the complexion. I am also a light/medium skin tone and used to use balance and brighten in medium. I now use the fair and warm it up with bronzer. I think you will be happy if you try this out as well. I am happy to hear you love the Laura Geller brand so much- thank you for your support!

This product is perfect for any skin type or age! Because it starts its life as a cream and is baked on terra-cotta tiles (which helps it retain moisture), it bakes into a powder form. It is extremely easy to use and never looks dry, powdery, or cakey. It does not settle into lines or wrinkles and looks gorgeous on everyone!

This will absolutely work for you. This product starts its life as a cream and is baked into a powder form, so it'll never go on the skin cakey or powdery. And since it was once a cream, and is baked on a terra-cotta tile that helps it retain moisture, this certainly will not dry out the skin. I think you'll rally love it and I recommend giving it a try!
