      Like the mineral foundations because

I'm as pale as ever and can never find foundation that works, until this. Only problem is that it is defeated by my oily skin, and always ends with just the blush parts, so my last couple of uses always leave me pink

I use this on lazy foundation days - I just throw on some concealer and then use a kabuki brush for full coverage or a powder brush if I want lighter converage. It's just the best - I actually prefer over my MAC mineralize skin finish. It's great as a setting/finishing powder as well. Will repurchase again and again!

I use this in the morning and apply with an angled brush! Finish off with Laura Geller's finishing powder that is a "color corrector". I dislike nothing about this fabulous foundation.

My favorite powder foundation! Some days I use this to set my liquid foundation but it also does a great job on its own. I have KP on my face, so it is pretty red. This foundation does a great job concealing it and gives my skin a nice glowy look!

I love love love Laura geller it's the only makeup I use. I've always got the balance n brighten medium but sometimes it's easy for me to end up looking a little dark but I wouldn't say I'm a fair skin tone.. would it be a better idea for me to get the balance n brighten in fair and get the bronzer to warm it if it needs it? Or should I stick with the medium.

I actually love the balance and brighten in fair! It has swirls of all these light colors that lighten and brighten the complexion. I am also a light/medium skin tone and used to use balance and brighten in medium. I now use the fair and warm it up with bronzer. I think you will be happy if you try this out as well. I am happy to hear you love the Laura Geller brand so much- thank you for your support!

This product is perfect for any skin type or age! Because it starts its life as a cream and is baked on terra-cotta tiles (which helps it retain moisture), it bakes into a powder form. It is extremely easy to use and never looks dry, powdery, or cakey. It does not settle into lines or wrinkles and looks gorgeous on everyone!

This will absolutely work for you. This product starts its life as a cream and is baked into a powder form, so it'll never go on the skin cakey or powdery. And since it was once a cream, and is baked on a terra-cotta tile that helps it retain moisture, this certainly will not dry out the skin. I think you'll rally love it and I recommend giving it a try!

I am a firm believer that there are no beauty rules. If you have tried using this with a beauty blender and have liked the results, by all means, keep doing it! However, my recommendation is that you start by applying with a large, fluffy powder brush that is dense enough to grab the pigments and deliver good coverage. You can always use the brush first, and then go back with the beauty blender and push/knead the powder into the skin for an airbrushed looking finish. Enjoy!

This happened to me once when I wet my brush and then used this product. I took a raiser and gently scraped the top later off and it was as good as new. I recommend using a small raise blade that you can get from the hardware store. Be very careful and scrape lightly! This should work :)

I first got matched for Fair at one of your Ulta locations. It matched perfectly. I noticed now that I am using the foundation more and going deeper into the palette, fair seems to be too dark for me. Should I switch to porcelain? Or is there a tip you can give me?

                    A:

Let's talk about undertones. Fair has much more yellow swirled into it and porcelain has much more pink. If you can see more pink in your skin (if you're cooler), porcelain might be a good idea. If you see more yellow/gold (if you're warmer), I would stick with fair. No matter what, always blend the foundation down below your jawline on to your neck. This will prevent any line of demarkation and even if its a tad too dark, it will still look very natural. Hope this helps!
