After using for a few days, I got a horrible rash on my cheeks. They started as welts that turned into tiny pustules. It was horrible!! Took a week to go away.

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Blush
    • Soft Highlighter

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten:

This is a nice and soft blush. The sparkle/shine in Honeysuckle is just strong enough to be a light highlighter if you don't want to look like an alien. Although, I haven't tested the length of wear yet, so keep that in mind. I got the colour Honeysuckle, and Pink Grapefruit, and out of those I prefer Honeysuckle because it is more of a muted colour. Pink Grapefruit is very pink, so in my opinion it would need to be more blended out.

Great thing about Geller blushes, highlighters, illuminators AND eyeshadows is that I can interchange them and blend them such as blending an eyeshadow with any other product to get the perfect shade for me.

    • Q:

Thinking of going with the sunswept, but have used a product in travel size, (Baby Cakes)
by Laura. Color was Ethereal Rose Baked Powder. Used for my cheeks, and love the color.
Wonder if this sunswept would be close? Love all Laura's produccts.
Asked on 5/5/2017 by Donnie from Traveling, in Bishop Cal.

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

The closest shade to Ethereal Rose is Pink Buttercream. As much as I LOVE sunswept, it is a completely different shade. It has much more warmth to it, with swirls of bronze, gold, and pink. I like to use Pink Buttercream when I want an overall pinky look, and I like to use Sunswept when I want a sun-kissed, bronzy glow.

        A:

Definitely try Honeysuckle! It is the perfect blend of bronze and pink, and it is so light in color that it is perfect for fair skin. Enjoy!

I love the Laura Gellar products I have and look forward to buying more. I was wondering for someone with light to more medium skin tone on the cool side which shade would be flattering.

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Each shade is designed to flatter all skin tones and undertones, however based on your description, it sounds like Tropic Hues will be perfect for you. It is also one of our most popular shades!

    • Q:

What color would be best for someone with cool-undertones and a medium-light skin tone? My skin gets tanned very easily, but is light right now, but I still have an olive-colored complexion!

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Based on the description of your skin tone and undertones, it sounds like Tropic Hues or Pink Buttercream will be perfect for you! Tropic Hues is one of our best selling shades.

    • Q:

Would any of these shades be light enough to use as a highlight rather than a blush?
Asked on 3/20/2017 by LK from VA from Virginia

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

It depends on your skin tone. If you are fair, these shades will be too deep and are better off used as a blush. If you are on the deeper end of the medium spectrum, Tropic Hues and Peach Delight will be light enough to use as a gorgeous pink highlight. Enjoy!

    • Q:

I am 56 with slightly dry skin. Should I use this or a cream?
Asked on 3/18/2017 by nvrcook from Massillon, OH

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Because this product starts its life as a cream and is baked on a terra-cotta tile into a powder form, it will not dry the skin out! It also will not settle into lines around the face because in reality, it is like a cream. It goes on the skin so smooth and creamy, I think you're going to love it. All baked makeup works this way. You might love some other baked items as well!

    • Q:

I want to try one of these blushes but since I have a medium-dark skin tone I was unsure about the bronze colors. Would Pink buttercream or tropic hues be better for me?
Asked on 3/10/2017 by breberry from New York

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

If you have a skin tone that is on the deeper side, the blush that would be stunning on you is Sunswept, and it's a true fan favorite! It has swirls of pink, bronze, and gold. It will add that soft color to the complexion that we all want from blush, but it is deep enough to be seen on deeper skin tones.

    • Q:

I loved the Roseberry, but can no longer find it. What is the closest shade as an alternative?
Asked on 3/2/2017 by LisaB from Philadelphia

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

The closest shade to Roseberry would be Pink Grapefruit. It is still pink, but it is extremely wearable and not too pink. This is one of our best selling shades and looks great on sky skin tone!
