Backlight Targeted Colour Correctors feature a highly pigmented formula that neutralizes discoloration. This creamy formula is infused with subtle luminosity to blur the look of imperfections, leaving your skin looking corrected and luminous.

Choose the shade that matches your skin concern:
  • Pistachio: Neutralizes redness for fair-to-medium skintones with red undertones.
  • Papaya: Neutralizes deep blues and greens for tan-to-deep-bronze skintones with blue undertones.
  • Peach: Neutralizes dark circles and hyperpigmentation for beige-to-deep bronze skintones.
  • Violet: Neutralizes dullness for light tan/olive skintones with yellow undertones.
Warm a small amount using fingertips and press onto the areas of concern. Lightly pat onto the area until the discoloration is neutralized. Blend the edges into the skin with a synthetic brush. Once blended, layer your favorite concealer or foundation over the corrected areas.

The green does cover redness!

Comments about BECCA Backlight Colour Correcting Crème:

I bought the green color corrector to help with redness on my cheeks and nose. It does work and it is long lasting. You definitely have to wear foundation over it, which I wear anyway. I found that it takes some practice to apply the right amount and blend it properly. After my moisturizer and primer, I use my fingers to dab a little corrector over the red areas, then I use a concealer brush to blend it in. The hard part is it really needs to dry for a bit before you put your foundation on. The texture is a bit tacky so it will shift if not allowed to dry. I also found that I don't have to use as much foundation and/or regular concealer where I use the corrector, so that is benefit. I don't see any sort of cast after I apply my foundation and the corrector/foundation stays in place. I plan to try another highly rated green color corrector to compare the products, but I can definitely see buying this again. It will also last a long time, because you don't use that much due to the thickness of the product.

Comments about BECCA Backlight Colour Correcting Crème:

I've been a fan and user of BECCA since it was my area of pride when I worked at an Ulta competitor (circa 2004) and I have had my suspicions about the quality of products since its acquisition by Estée Lauder.
And sadly, this product - specifically the Peach color - suffered from inaccurate marketing.
A product that is called Peach needs to look like peach as understood by those familiar with that term in makeup. Warm, golden, and resembling skin tone.
This looks like Tang and Sunkist orange, making it useless for minimizing dark circles which it is described as doing. Only by combining it with two highlighters could I make it work, somewhat. I used it once and quickly placed it in my makeup kit, where it will be used on other people.
Orange counteracts purple, which is why some of the best undereye concealing products are effective. Somewhere in the formulation here that was missed.
I will recommend this only to people for whom this is a skin tone complement.
This product is marketed wrong and needs to be described online and in print as what it is: only for the deepest of skin tones.

My fav color Corrector

By BritBaby

Comments about BECCA Backlight Colour Correcting Crème:

I just want people to know that these are darker in person and there's not much description for these. In person, the green & peach are darker but not in a bad way. The red one, is for darker skin complexions for purple & blue corrections, mainly under eye. The Peach is actually pretty close in color to the red(apricot, I think) and in my opinion, a dark peach but it works well for anyone from fair up to darker complexion. The Green, pistachio is very pigmented and not as light as this page shows but it's still the best CC I've ever used. And I've used other $30 and $5 green CCs and BECCA is the best. It doesn't completely cover my big pimples but covers all the redness and the majority of my acne. I definitely recommend 100%
