Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I've only been using this product for about a week or so. It feels nice on, but the application has been hit of miss for me. Perhaps that is simply user error, as I am new to the product. I switched from a liquid foundation to this powder and it does feel lighter on my skin. But I tend to be red in the cheeks and the morning the coverage looks good, but as the day goes on, that redness in my cheeks become more apparent. I would prefer not to have to reapply during the day.

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I found this in Fair-Light Neutral and thought I'd buy it after having success with the liquid Amazonian Clay Foundation.
In the liquid, I matched between fairly-light neutral and light beige. I thought that this shade would be the same or close to fairly-light beige in the liquid, but it's not. It's actually a bit dark, and I'd even say more yellow than neutral.
I prefer to brighten my skin as opposed to looking tan, to the extent that I match my neck to my face because my neck is the darkest part of my body-- so I can't say I'm a fan.

Perhaps Fair Honey would be better, but I'm probably not going to bother trying as I don't think it would be as good of a match as a fair beige or neutral.
Since the colors are darker in this than the liquid, try a shade lighter if possible.

I can say right off the bat that there are definitely not enough shades in this. There needs to be a fair beige, fair sand, and fair neutral added. I hope that happens in the future. I don't even have super fair skin, so anyone who is very pale, this will not work for you.

Additionally, the powder is much more cakey than the liquid. I would also say it's a little fuller coverage, and more matte. I would put it at medium-full coverage. Personally I prefer the light-medium coverage and dewy feeling of the liquid.

What I also like is the design of the container. It has a raised spot in the lid so that once it's closed, the powder will not fall out. I really like this because with every powder I've ever tried, upon opening, the powder falls out all over me. This is wasteful and often ruins an outfit or just makes a mess, so I like the design of this container a lot. Anything at this price point should really have a container that helps to minimize waste of the product.

I also like the mesh portion where you dip your brush. I'm not sure how this will work when the powder starts getting low, but it's nice for now as again, it makes it so that you never get too much product.
    Just need more shades

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I really like powder foundations because they don't clog up my pores as easily as a liquid foundation. I have tried others, such as bare minerals, but the coverage on that was a little thick. Prolonged use, especially in the heat, would cause breakouts.

This Tarte foundation is very light but the pigment is still very good. I've worn it every day for two weeks (in extreme heat & humidity) and no breakouts! Plus, I think my shade was easier to find with Tarte.

Also, the product design is great bc it has a basin with some mesh netting over the foundation powder. On first glance, it looked like a way to cleanly apply foundation but it also serves to have a more focused brush application.
