Love it, light weight, I have oily/combination skin, lasts all day. Use tarte tinted moisturizer under and concealer. Also recommend using the airbuki brush for it, its pricy but will last long time. Like that it's natural sunscreen, I'm driving all day for work in the desert, so I feel more protected and no allergies to the powder and no breakouts.

I apply a light moisturizer so it goes further with less. You really do not want to layer too much or I feel it would get too heavy. I have been using this foundation for a few years now and still go back to this even after trying something else.

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I have very sensitive skin and a sunscreen allergy, so finding a foundation that doesn't break me out and that doesn't have sunscreen is challenging. I heard so many good things about this product and am so glad I tried it! I've been using it daily for almost a year and my skin looks better for it. It's easy to apply (though I would recommend buying the Airbuki brush) and I don't even feel like I'm wearing makeup. I wore it for my engagement portraits and my skin looked flawless. My only complaint is that you need to build it up to achieve fuller coverage; I almost always need to use a liquid concealer to cover up blemishes. Luckily my concealer (Maybelline Fit Me) blends in seamlessly to this and doesn't move all day. On oily days, I do get a bit shiny but the foundation doesn't move and still looks great at the end of the day. And a little bit goes a long way so I can justify the price. You won't need to repurchase more than a couple times a year. All in all, I can't recommend this enough!

I love this stuff. I get so many compliments when I wear it. It makes me look glowy and fresh. I can layer it for more coverage and it never looks cakey or fake. I have oily skin normally and dry skin while pregnant (which I currently am) and it has worked very well for me in both situations. I'm so glad I found this, years ago!

I love the light beige in summertime when I have a slight tan & it gives my face some color. What shade is best when I don't have a tan? I could not find a lighter shade that has pink undertones.

Will I still be able to get the product out with the same/similar coverage? Is there a better alternative if I choose not to (immediately) invest in the Airbuki brush?

I use light sand in the liquid clay foundation as well as 2 different Tarte concealers. When I bought the powder foundation in light sand, it was way too dark and yellow; I looked severely jaundiced. Is there another recommended shade in the powder foundation that's equivalent to light sand in the liquid products? The online shade guide isn't exactly helpful since I would usually choose that shade for my skin.
