                I am 52 and use retina which may be the issue. However, it is very hard to apply and very tacky after applying. I didn't leave on long enough to know if it last or how well it wears because it stung too bad. I have used other foundations that do not cause the stinging so not sure whats in the product that didn't work well for me. I am actually returning it to Ulta

                          Fair Beige has cooler more pink undertones and Ivory has a combo of both pink and yellow undertones - we would recommend the Fair beige for you!

                        • Brand Expert

                          A:

                          A good test for this is to check the veins on the inside of your wrist - are they more blue? Green? Both?
                          Green = Warm undertones
                          Blue = Cool undertones
                          Both = Neutral undertones

                          A good tip for our shades is this:

                          Beige = cooler, pink undertones
                          Neutral = a combo of pink and yellow undertones
                          Sand = warmer yellow undertones
                          Honey = cooler, peachy apricot undertones (good for redheads!)

                        I was recommended by an Exuviance rep at Ulta in Tulsa to use their full coverage foundation even though I was really there to buy Tarte's amazionan clay foundation. I will now be returning the Exuviance foundation and getting what I originally came there for as the color is great (warm beige) for me, but the product itself is not as it really accentuates pores and lines. What color would you recommend in Tarte's amazonian clay that is comparable to the Exuviance warm beige?
