Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

I haven't really noticed any difference between this face wash and my cheap neutrogena drugstore one. It leaves the skin feeling very soft afterwards, but only for a little while. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, my chin is my worst area. I don't get acne, but the occasional deep 'underground' zit (the ones that like NEVER surface and HURT) is enough to get me to try products like this one. It didn't change anything - in fact I've noticed small, regular pimples showing up in areas where I've never gotten them before (but that's probably just the normal reaction from changing face washes). I'm also a teenager, so, when the assistant at the store said this was great for hormonal acne I jumped at the chance. Alas, here I am... covering zits with concealer as per usual. Oh well! I'll continue to use it until I run out, just to see if maybe it cures all my problems after all (in which case I will change my review)!

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

I've tried just about everything to clear my face up for years now. Been through a lot of different acne medications from the dermatologist and within two days I'm super impressed with this. I struggle with cystic acne and this is hands down the best yet.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

I'm 50 years old and have monthly acne flare ups caused by hormones. I was experiencing breakouts, some cystic, on my chin. At age 50, acne shouldn't be a major problem but it was for me. I tried vitamins, eliminating dairy, over the counter acne products and Minocycline all to no avail. I then tried the Ain't Misbehavin' line based on my desperation and favorable user reviews. Since I started using this product 2 months ago, (along with the serum and sulfur mask from this line) my acne has been a non-issue. I have never written a review for ULTA even though I am a Platinum customer but, I want to share the positive results I've had with others who may be feeling overwhelmed by acne. I love this product!!!!!

I can tell it is helping my acne. I wouldn't recommend for dry or sensitive skin. It did feel a little harsh the first few times I tried it but I also have some dryness on my cheeks and around my mouth. I do think for the price it's a good investment.

                    A:

This cleanser is perfect for oily and acne prone skin and contains glycolic acid and salicylic acid to help keep skin exfoliated and prevent breakouts. If your skin is irritated or sensitive at the moment, the Kakadu C cleanser is also great for acneic skin but is a gentler formulation.

This cleanser is formulated to be soap free and non-drying and helps keep oiliness in check without stripping the skin. If oily skin isn't your main concern, and you are looking for a brightening effect, you could try the Kakadu C cleanser which resurfaces gently while brightening hyperpigmentation spots with Vitamin C.

Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser would be the cleanser we'd suggest for those with blemish-prone, oily skin. Unlike some traditional acne facial washes, this one contains hydrating and soothing ingredients to help counteract dryness, so it's a great option for him based on your description of his skin type, condition, and concerns.
