Packaging takes the rating down

About Me Brand Buyer

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

Even if I loved this product, I wouldn't ever buy this again in this packaging. The bottle is glass, it's slippery when wet and you can't squeeze any product out. So, since the pump is almost useless and the opening is narrow, to get any out you have to pound it in your hand. All in all, too frustrating. As far as the product goes, it does seem to be keeping my face clear but it also burns a bit which I don't think can be a good thing. So I may try to transfer the rest of the product into something else to use it up, but I wouldn't re-purchase.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

Today makes 1 month of using the Kakadu C cleanser and Ain't Misbehavin' toner, so I wanted to merge this product into my skincare regimen. I've only been using it 3 days now (morning and night), and I have yet to see any results. As with acne care, I do believe it takes 21+ days to see results from a new product- although some brands claim results sooner. This product is a "cream cleanser" so don't expect any foaming. I think the consistency is something you'd have to adapt to if you're accustomed to using soapy cleansers. It does make me question whether it's working or not, but only time will tell. I will continue to use the product in conjunction w/ the other two Dermadoctor products I mentioned above. Hopefully they will work in perfect harmony. :) I still don't like the glass bottle. And unlike the Kakadu C cleanser, this cleanser doesn't have a "open/ close" twist top (not a big deal yet useful). I'll come back with another review in a month or so..

            I recommend this to everyone

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser:

So there is a beauty group on social media that I am a part of. one of the most common question a member will ask is about acne products and what do other members recommend. every chance I get I recommend this face wash. I'm not sure if anyone has actually bought it because of my suggestions, but I do try. Please use the product exactly as the instructions are written. I think it provides the best results. I usually remove my makeup with micellar water first and then apply the wash on my dry face ans let it set for a few minutes before washing off. My acne problems have been hard to solve because I could never clear my face long enough to treat the hyperpigmentation...but this acne cleanser allows me to actually recover in between breakouts.

I'm trying to find a good cleanser for my boyfriend. He's is 26 and has acne, oily skin, and gets real dry after he washes his face. What would be a good product recommendation for him?

                A:

Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated AHA/BHA Acne Cleanser would be the cleanser we'd suggest for those with blemish-prone, oily skin. Unlike some traditional acne facial washes, this one contains hydrating and soothing ingredients to help counteract dryness, so it's a great option for him based on your description of his skin type, condition, and concerns.

I'm currently trying to find a product that will help clear up these red/brown marks on my face left from past blemishes & I was wondering what product I should buy to clear up the marks & if this is a product that would help clear them up? I don't break out as much anymore just a few bumps on my forehead & chin but for the most part the rest of my skin is smooth, it's just the marks left behind from past breakouts.

The Ain't Misbehavin' line is to prevent acne. The Kakadu C line is best to clear hyperpigmentation.

                A:

Yes, you can! The only type of cleanser to avoid when using a cleansing brush is one containing any exfoliating particles (such as scrubs), as this could over-exfoliate the skin and cause irritation.
