Help stop mischief-making skin from acting out. Ain't Misbehavin' tames blemishes at their source; helping treat, clear and prevent future acne outbreaks. A DERMAdoctor cult classic, this lightweight, gentle yet effective, moisturizing base helps mattify, clarify and leave skin feeling fresh and hydrated.

Ideal for most skin types. Continued use provides positive reinforcement - keeping skin free of unsightly blemishes. Dermatologist tested & approved, allergy tested, hypoallergenic, non irritating, non drying, non comedogenic, fragrance free, dye free, paraben free, gluten free, no animal testing.
Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer once or twice daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to twice daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. May be followed with cosmetics, moisturizers or sunscreen.

For external use only. When using this product skin irritation and dryness is more likely to occur if you use another topical acne medication at the same time. If irritation occurs, only use one topical acne medication at a time. Stop use and ask a doctor if skin irritation occurs or gets worse. Do not get into eyes. Keep out of reach of children. People who are allergic to salicylates (found in aspirin) should not use products containing willow bark or salicylic acid. Pregnant or nursing women should talk to their doctor before using any products containing salicylic acid.

Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a broad spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated Acne Control Serum:

I have been using this acne serum + the acne cleanser from derma doctor for two years. This is the only thing that has helped my acne! It can dry out your skin, especially around your nose, but lately I've been using a spray toner and Cetaphil lotion which has been making it better. Best thing to do is not directly apply it, but SLAP it on your face. It sounds weird...but I've been doing that method for the past two months and it has greatly improved the effectiveness of the cleanser.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated Acne Control Serum:

Was suffering from hormonal & cystic acne on my chin since hitting my 40s. Tried so many products, even a prescription product --- nothing worked. Was shopping with my daughter and an associate recommended this product as well as the wash and my daughter had tremendous results. I tried the serum only and it has been Amazing! With using as needed, I am nearly breakout free with the exception of once and a great while. I keep this in my product drawer at all times now.

I'm in love with this product and this line , I've suffered from really severe cystic acne since the age of 14 I am now 20 . And I went to ulta and an Amazing employee recommended this cleanser and serum and I can not thank her enough . My skin is clearer I would usually break out so bad in my cheeks and jaw now I can say I only have about 3 and mostly around that time of the month . The price is all well worth it for such amazing product. I recommend this to anyone with acne cystic acne , my fav .

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated Acne Control Serum:

I was advised to try this product to minimize my pores. it was apparent that it is fast acting now and effective. I had a terrible break out because of my eyebrows being threaded, this helped a lot but I excessively used it and experienced very dry & peeling skin. I won't use it more than 3 minimal applications a day.

I've been getting red acne bumps on my chin for years now and nothing I tried would treat or prevent them. When one would go away, another would pop up. After one night this stuff reduced the redness and size. Now a week later, it's gone and the marks from previous acne have gone away.

It's got a strong smell that goes away after you put it on.

Comments about Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated Acne Control Serum:

This used to be the best serum out there. However, they changed the formula -- apparently when they changed the packaging. Would have been nice to have seen a sign, a note, a sticker -- something! -- indicating the change from .5% to 2(!)% salicylic acid. That's a big jump with no warning! My skin is now dry, breaking out, and overall unhappy. I'm giving the new formula a chance, but I'm very disappointed in DD's decision to reformulate without any notice.

I have been using this product for about two years. I don't have chronic or cystic acne but when I do get the occasional breakout this works in a flash. I cleanse and apply under my moisturizer. In the morning there is significant reduction in the appearance of the acne. Once you get past the awful smell all is well. Results are worth it.

                  • Q:

Can you use this with another serum and moisturizer? I have sensitive/combo skin, more dry right now with the winter months though. But I still get some adult hormonal acne around my jawline/chin (from my cheekbones to jawline) I was in Accutane 3yrs ago for cystic acne & still use my dermatologist prescribed topical gel, Ziana. However it's to strong for my sensitive skin in the winter and I want something to help my skin when I'm breaking out. Suggestions appreciated!

                      Hello,

You can definitely use our vitamin C serum with additional products. We would just recommend using it first and allowing time for it to dry before layering.

I have deep painful acne along my jawline, that regular spot treatments just aren't clearing up. I think it may be a hormone imbalance issue but I'm really not sure. Would this product be effective in treating that kind of adult acne or is it more for surface, minor acne? Thank you!

Dr. Kunin created the Ain't Misbehavin' Serum specifically to help treat adult acne because she was receiving so many questions from people about it. It will help to treat and prevent both hormonal adult acne as well as surface breakouts with continued use.
