I fell in love with this product and it will be a permanent staple in my beauty routine! It really helps calm my acne and reduce redness while making my overall skin look great. So many acne products are harsh and drying but not this one. Love!!!

Found my life (and face) saver!

      By Lannie

Comments about Clinique Acne Solutions Acne + Line Correcting Serum:

I'm 32 and break out often in the worst way no matter how careful I am with my routine. I was very hesitant to purchase this item after describing how sensitive my dry skin reacts to new products. I am on week 3 and I have noticed a big difference! My skin looks and feels so clear! I haven't had a zit pop up in over a week.. Definitely planning on purchasing another one!

Comments about Clinique Acne Solutions Acne + Line Correcting Serum:

I'm over 30 with acne prone skin... Enough said. This definitely has helped hydrate my skin more but the jury is still out on if it clears up acne. I haven't seen as many cystic breakouts since I started using it so that's a positive. So far after about a week and a half I haven't decided if I'll buy another bottle.

A Dangerous Product--Use At Your Own Risk

        By Lucy's mom

        from Northeast PA

Comments about Clinique Acne Solutions Acne + Line Correcting Serum:

The latest entrant in Clinique's Acne Solutions line, this product does nothing that it purports to do, while actually causing harm to the skin. It is supposed to help solve twin skin concerns: hormonal acne and signs of aging. Unbelievably, most of the positive reviews I've seen for this product were written by very young people who cannot possibly be concerned about aging skin! Far worse were the results I endured--large, burn-like welts, which in the past I'd experienced after using benzoyl peroxide-based products. Since this product contains salicylic acid (a tiny percentage), I thought it would be safe to use, Boy, was I wrong!

        So far, so good

Comments about Clinique Acne Solutions Acne + Line Correcting Serum:

I love Clinique serums, so I was really happy when they released a serum for acne. So far I'm pretty happy with the product. My chin acne has seemed to clear without any other spot medication. My acne is not bad, but it's nice to see it becoming even clearer. It also really nice that the product seems to work, but doesn't dry out my skin! It is very comfortable to wear and is not even a little oily.

The only downside I notice is that the serum is a little hard to apply. It dries out very quickly and does not smooth over skin as easily as other serums do. To fix this, I damped my face a little before application, which makes it easy to apply. No big deal though.

As long as I continue to see good results, I'll keep on buying this!

        • Q:

Could I use the Anti-Blemish BB Cream after the serum? I bought the serum, the BB Cream and the Anti-blemish foundation. Could I use the serum, then the BB Cream and then Foundation? Or would I choose between the BB Cream and the Foundation? Thanks

            A:

It is best to choose either the BB Cream or the Acne Solutions Foundation to wear at one time. They are both nice options, but wearing one at a time will give you plenty of coverage. Thank you for your interest!

        • Q:

I already use the Clinique Acne Solutions 3 step system. Should I be using the acne + line correcting serum after the Acne Solutions Clearing Moisturizer even if it contains benzoyl peroxide, or should I switch to using the moisturizing gel prior to the serum or stay with the clearing moisturizer?

            A:

If you are having success with what you are using, I would stay with it. This serum could be used in conjunction with your Acne Solutions Cleansing 3 step system if you are also concerned with lines and wrinkles.

I have very very pale porcelain skin and when I get acne it scars and is red for months after the pimple is gone. Is this product specifically for the scarring of acne? How long until you begin to see results?

            A:

Hi! I would suggest Clinique's Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector instead. It targets acne scarring in the most amazing way! It is the #1 selling dark spot corrector in the world, which includes acne scarring.
You need to partner it with a sunscreen, as irritation to the skin causes more scarring. When used twice a day with a sunscreen, we guarantee 1-2 shades lighter in 4 weeks. You could notice it more quickly, but we guarantee a visible difference in 4 weeks when used correctly.

Hi! If you are using Pore Refining Solutions Serum, you could omit that one in exchange for the Acne Solutions Acne + Line Correcting Serum. I would continue to use Even Better Dark Spot Correcting Serum if discoloration is a concern of yours.

            A:

Hello. Thank you for your interest in Clinique! Acne is caused from oil and bacteria becoming trapped beneath dead skin. Knowing this, I would assume that the type of dryness you are speaking of is dead skin verses true tightness in your skin. If that is the case, this product is absolutely appropriate. It will help to fight acne, exfoliate the dead skin and help to soften lines. It is a nice parter to Clinique's 3 step skin care system.
