Acne-soothing mask's cool, refreshing tingle lets you know treatment is penetrating each pore to relieve redness and absorb excess acne-causing oils. AcneFree Therapeutic Sulfur Mask by University Medical is formulated with sulfur, Vitamin C, copper, zinc and meadowsweet to minimize the appearance of pores and refine skin's tone and texture. Color signal technology turns formula light blue when treatment is complete and ready to be rinsed off.
Gently massage into clean wet skin for two to three minutes until mask turns light blue for maximum absorption. Leave on an additional 10 minutes, until dry. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry. You may experience a tightening and cooling effect. Some individuals may find the fooling feeling too strong-simply rinse off the mask immediately if uncomfortable. Use 2-3 times per week or as desired. Avoid the eye and lip areas. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure and use a sunscreen.
Active Ingredient: Sulfur (3.5%) Inactive Ingredients: Kaolin, Water (Aqua), Bentonite, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C Derivative), Copper Amino Acid Chelate, Lactose, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Ethylhexylglycerin, Cellulose, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Iron Oxides, Tocopheryl (Antioxidant), Zinc PCA, Menthyl Lactate, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Butylene Glycol, Spiraea Ulmaria (Meadowsweet) Flower Extract, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylisothiazolinone

Comments about University Medical Acne Free Therapeutic Sulfur Mask:

First of all, this contains ultramarines in the form of little blue beads that come out with the mask. I have no idea what purpose they serve, but they're irritating in my opinion. Secondly, this mask has a HORRIBLE odor. I've used sulfur products before that haven't had the best smell, but when I rinsed this off it reeked of rotten eggs. I spot treated with the mask on a few large, inflamed bumps and all it served to do with redden my skin and make it throb. It did not dry out the bumps. In fact, a few new bumps cropped up where I applied the mask the next day and the day after. Considering the smell, I'm not surprised it caused tiny red, irritated bumps to form. Run far, far away from this cheaply made product.

This mask works pretty well especially considering the price point. It does dry you out a little but I guess that's what you want if you have oily acne prone skin.

The directions say to use it several times a week. I have been using it every night and it does not irritate my skin. I've tried just about everything with no results, however this sulphur based product has improved my skin.

I really like this mask. I works great with my skin. Keeps it clear for the most part. I smear it on, leave to dry up for anywhere from 15 - 45 minutes. Then I wait for the tightening feeling and wash off with a washcloth. I usually apply on the whole face, even though you are only supposed to put on individual spots.

Put it only on bumps, otherwise it will dry out your face too much! Use once or twice a week. Leave on for only 15 minute ties or so. Dries up pimples fast!

Comments about University Medical Acne Free Therapeutic Sulfur Mask:

There are definitely better masks out there especially ones that prevent or help with blemishes. The tube is very small, it dries too quickly and I felt it wasn't that effective. I also don't like how it kind of dried out my skin.

Excellent product for acne prone skin. I walk around with this on and my kids and friends shake their head at me, but oh well it works. This is my 3rd tube. It last a long time even though its a small tube. Warning, tho if you use it everyday dont leave it on to long because it will dry you out. I would suggest every other day if you are really oily or just spot treatment.

Great for eliminating oil and tightening up skin. Use as often as works for you skin; I found that daily use is a bit too drying for my skin right now.
